EXPERIENCE
Mad Science of West Virginia, Saint Albans, WV — Owner
November 2013 - PRESENT
I provide fun science educational programing in
elementary schools with the assistance of staff who I hire
and supervise.
After-School Programs consist of 8, 1-hour sessions held
after school in which students are immersed in hands-on,
experiential science learning. Lincoln County reports
measured increases in GPA and dramatic increases in
interest in science after participating.
Birthday Parties, School Assemblies, Camps, and Special
Events also provide avenues for increasing interest in
science in a state the currently ranks 49th in science
education. If sufficient interest and funding can be
generated by schools, this program has the potential to
make a significant difference.
