( PROBABILITY + STATS, GAME THEORY )
Fair means an equally likely chance of a
random throw of a dice landing on any face.
Probability (any face of dice) = 1/6
= 16.7%
Bias is any deviation from the population
parameter being measured. So if “2” shows
up more times than any other face of the dice,
the dice is said to be biased (it’s an over-
estimate). If “4” shows up less times, it’s also a
bias (it’s an under-estimate error)
ECONOMICS
Fair value is a rational and unbiased estimate
of the potential market price of a good,
service, or asset. It takes into account such
objective factors as: acquisition/production/
distribution costs, replacement costs, or costs
of close substitutes.
HUMAN LANGUAGE
Fair means either (1.) impartial and just
treatment or behavior without favoritism or
discrimination or (2.) quality of having light-
colored hair or a pale complexion.

another usually in a way that's considered to
be unfair
