Tatjana Stojceska is a journalist and editor for the scientific programme at Macedonian Radio and Television. 2. Macedonian Television
Macedonian Television is composed of two programme services-Channel One and
Channel Two (on which programme for the ethnical minorities is broadcasted),
Satellite Channel and Parliamentary Channel.
Being a public service, MRT produces news and current affairs programmes, debates,
educational, scientific, cultural, documentary, sports, feature and entertainment
programmes.
Within the frames of its responsibilities as a public service, MRT also produces
programmes for disabled and people with special needs (news and special
programmes for the audience with hearing problems).

Macedonian Radio and Television is
probably the most untypical
broadcasting service in Europe, this
characteristic resulting from the fact that
it broadcasts programmes in nine
different languages.
4. The Law
According to the Law on broadcasting
adopted in November 2005, MTV
broadcasts on the territory of the
Republic of Macedonia-on one channel
in Macedonian language and another one
in the language of non-majority ethnic
community; while MRA broadcasts on
two channels in Macedonian language
and one in the language of non-majority
ethnic community.

Scientific Spectrum on Macedonian
Television is a specialized scientific
programme that has been broadcasting
since 1999 on the first channel of the
Macedonian Television; every first and
third Wednesday of the month
depending on the current programming.
7. Scientific Spectrum
Scientific Spectrum is focused on the current research topics
from different fields of science and is intended for anyone who
is interested in scientific research and development projects in
Macedonia and worldwide.
The broadcasted articles in the show are using terms and
concepts that are easy to understand and highlight the essential
issues.
The show presents a contemporary overview of the latest
trends in science and research.
8. Scientific Spectrum
Scientific Spectrum continuously monitors the energy-related
problems in the Republic of Macedonia. Since the problem of
lack of energy will be further discussed in the future, in its
studies (articles) Scientific Spectrum repeatedly stresses the
importance of the renewable sun, wind, biomass to energy
savings, the increasing environmental protection and
improvement of the quality of life.
Scientific Spectrum covers the complex issue of climate
changes and their impact on the territory of the Republic of
Macedonia.
9. Scientific Spectrum
This approach is designed to show various aspects of the
achievements of the objectives (meeting the criteria for
membership in the European Union) at national and local
level. In addition, it helps to increase the public awareness of
the main issues of the Union, regarding the aspirations of
Macedonia to join the European family.
