to me as part of the curriculum in 2 years of PGDM. I have tried my best
to present this information as clearly as possible using basic terms that I
hope will be comprehended by the wide spectrum for students. I have
completed this study under the able guidance and supervision of PROF.
SANJEEV TANDON. I will be failed in my duty if I do not
acknowledge the esteemed scholarly guidance, assistance and knowledge;
I have received from them towards fruitful and timely completion of this
work. I am also thankful to Director Management Sir, My Coordinator
and other faculty members who gave me this opportunity to do this.
3
Preface
A professional course in PGDM is incomplete unless the theoretical
knowledge acquired in the class room is backed up by practical exposure,
as theories alone do not give perfection to any discipline. The gap
between theory and practiced is bridged by project report, which has been
an integral part of the syllabus.
This present Project report is an image of what I have done and observed.
I was assigned a project on AG POLY PACK.
I have tried my level best to be as a systematic as possible and to avoid
any sort of biases.

PEST ANALYSIS OF AG POLY PACKS LTD.
Political:-
It’s been almost a century since new chemical methods led to a boom in the
innovative plastic polymers that revolutionized the plastics industry. Today, the
things we drive, fly in, eat our meals on, and use to keep warm are composed
of some type of plastic derivative.
The plastics industry has become a driving force in today’s economy. The
impact is so considerable that just the smallest shift in the cost of production
can have a global affect on jobs, wages, and capital circulation on every
economic level.
Economical:-
This Is Plastics (ThisIsPlastics.com) is a feature-rich resource designed to frame
that conversation with facts. Articles, infographics and interactive quizzes
highlight five key topics—Plastics 101, Environment, Safety, Innovation, and
Economic Impact.
The plastics industry is vital to the American economy. It accounted for an
increase of 11,000 jobs in 2016, and the economies of several states are
dependent upon it.
14
Socio-Cultural:-
Plastic is harmful because it is ‘Non-Biodegradable’. When thrown on land it
makes the soil less fertile. When thrown in water it chokes our ponds, rivers
and oceans and harms the sea life. If animals eat plastic, it gets stuck in their
tummy and makes them sick.
Technological:-
The plastics industry cluster includes resin manufacturing and compounding,
production machinery and metal fabrication of molds and fixtures, the actual
manufacturing of plastic products and parts, and the distribution of resins and
shapes.
