UNIMED General Assembly Rome, 12 - 13 December 2019 INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY NEW PARTNERS:  To link with new potential partner institutions  To establish connections through progressive, step by step, short term collaboration STAFF MOBILITY: Teaching & Administrative staff To discover, analyse and discuss:  the academic offer  the teaching and learning methodolgies  the processes and procedures STUDENT MOBILITY:  Short term group mobility (1 week – 1 month) combined with staff HISTORICAL PARTNERS:  To deepen, increase and enhance existing partnerships  To add new sectors and activities to the existing collaboration STAFF MOBILITY: Teaching & Administrative staff  To further develop and increase the quality and coorination about exchanges/academic connections/research activities STUDENT MOBILITY:  study  practical activity (laboratory, internship, tutor)  research for dissertation

UNIMED General Assembly Rome, 12 - 13 December 2019 STAFF MOBILITY TEACHING/RESEARCH STAFF:  Disciplinary focus Identify and develop spaces for cooperation in a specific disciplinary field/thematic sector/on a particular set of topics  Innovation New/different teaching&learning methodologies  Peculiarities of the region/area of the partner HEI Maximize the added value of what the partner can offer (something that is only there) MANAGERIAL/ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF:  Compare methodologies, processes and procedures  Development, adoption and application of joint tools (documents, forms, communication platforms)  Visit the environment → understand the system, context, reality  IROs, welcome offices, libraries, laboratories CHALLENGES:  Not only senior staff/executive levels but also junior staff/operational levels  Staff mobility → individual experience for personal/academic growth + benefit to the HEI as a whole
