THE PRE-PLACEMENT MODEL
This course has been specially designed by Teknoturf, in consultation with the recruiting companies
mentioned above. The pre-placement model adopted by Teknoturf requires candidates to be placed prior
to enrollment for the course. Any one of the companies would issue conditional offer letters to selected
candidates, apart from providing inputs for the curriculum. Applicants would need to satisfy the academic
criteria and pass an entrance test to be eligible for the selection process of the companies. A candidate
needs to be selected by any one of the above companies to become eligible for the course.
The following would be the conditions governing the offer letters to be issued by the recruiting companies:
(1) The candidate to whom the appointment letter is issued by one of the recruiting companies should
attend, at his/her own cost, the 45 days course at Teknoturf, in Coimbatore, and successfully
graduate in the course, as per the evaluation norms applicable at Teknoturf.
The candidates who meet the condition specified in (1) above would be absorbed on the terms
specified in the conditional offer letter.
Note: The onus of absorbing the candidates, who successfully graduate in the course, into their company rests with the respective
Recruitment Companies that have issued the pre-course offer letters, and Teknoturf is in no way responsible for the same.
The value for candidates who undergo this program would be:
High quality training that is relevant too (this is ensured by the fact that the companies customize a portion
of the curriculum based on real time needs). For example, the specialization curriculum for Gramener
Technologies and Payoda Technologies will be Python, while the specialization would be Java technologies
for the other companies. On successful completion, candidates would get an industry recognized Teknoturf
certificate. The pre-placement model will result in learning benefits as candidates focus on the curriculum
without worrying about placement. The depth and relevance of the curriculum and Teknoturf’s renowned
delivery quality, aim at preparing the candidate for a rapidly accelerated career in the fast changing IT
industry, rather than just getting a job.

THE COURSE
Teknoturf Certified Software Professional (TCSP)
An excellent course for aspiring Application Developers, it contains three parts: the Basic Core, the
Advanced Core and the Specialisation.
Basic Core equips the student with the foundations of computer science and programming concepts,
through modules that have enduring value for software professionals. Additionally, this section of the
course provides insight into the ’full life cycle’ of a software project, inculcating valuable skills for designing,
building and implementing projects.
Advanced Core of the course imparts significant proficiency in Object Oriented Technologies, Database
Management and Web Programming. It teaches in depth the nuances of OOAD with UML and in-depth
Object oriented programming concepts.
The Specialisation part of the course completes the preparation to enter the IT world as a fully equipped
developer ready for project deployment. Organisations across the globe are increasingly looking towards
Enterprise Wide solutions. The curriculum comprises of advanced technologies and methodologies, which
will be implemented through projects that would simulate a real time environment.
Teknoturf’s experience and its interaction with leading IT companies has made it appreciate the importance
of the non-technical skills that make the student professionally effective. A sizeable portion of the course
has been marked to build these skills, which have been grouped under Holistic Learning.
Entrance Test
An aptitude test, which will evaluate candidates in analytical abilities, logical skills, numeric skills and verbal
abilities, would be held on the 26th and 27th
of September. The test will begin at 10.00 a.m. and end not
later than 12 noon. All candidates are requested to be at the test venue by 09.30 a.m. The Entrance Test
would be held in the following cities: Bangalore, Coimbatore & Hyderabad. Details of the test venue at each
of the cities would be published in our website by 23rd
September 2015.
Before coming to the test venue, candidates will have to contact Teknoturf by email/phone/in person and
get the application form. Candidates will have to mention their preference order of the company they

choose and the city where they would like to work in. This application form will have to be submitted at the
entrance test venue where the candidate will be allotted a registration number, which has to be used for all
future references.
The RESULTS of the entrance test will be announced by 3.00pm on 27th
September 2015 and the successful
candidates would go through a final interview with the respective companies on the 28th
and 29th
of
September, 2015.
The list of candidates selected by the recruiting companies would be published on our website by 12 noon
on 30-Sep-2015. The admission letter would be sent by email to the selected candidates, who have to pay
the entire course fee on or before 6-Oct-2015 to confirm the seat. Once the candidate registers into the
course by paying the total fees, the conditional appointment letter by the selected company will be handed
over to the candidate. Classes would commence from 7th
October 2015.
Note:
(1) No re-imbursement of travel and stay expenses, or other costs, would be given to candidates who come
for the test / selection process. Teknoturf or any of the recruiting companies would not be liable to pay any
amount towards cost or compensation to any candidate if the selection process is, partly or fully, postponed
or cancelled at the last moment due to unavoidable reasons.

The course duration will be 45 days (full-time)
COURSE FEE
(1) The course fee is Rs.18,500 /- (inclusive of all taxes). The entire amount is payable on or before 6th
October, 2015, while registering for the course and collecting the pre-course offer letter.
(2) Course fee once paid would not be refunded on any account.

EVALUATION CRITERIA
Mode of evaluation for each module would be objective, subjective or programmatic depending on
the subject.
The final performance index will be a weighted average score of all modules and projects done. The
weightage will be proportionate to the number of hours prescribed for each module and the
weightage will be doubled for project work.
If a candidate fails in a module test ie. gets less than 50%, the candidate can write a second attempt.
If the candidate fails in the second attempt as well, no further re-tests will be granted. Out of the
marks of the original test and re-test, the better of the two marks will be considered after any re-
test. This will not be applicable for the projects.
If a candidate fails in the first attempt in more than three modules in the course, he can continue
with the course, but the pre-placement offer letter would stand nullified.
Candidates can take up a re-test in any three modules they have already passed in, to improve their
scores. This will not be applicable for projects and for any module where the candidate failed and
took a re-test.
To successfully graduate in the course and be eligible to be inducted into any of the recruiting
companies a candidate should get an overall score of 60%, with a minimum pass score of 50% in all
modules and project.
Interested candidates, meeting the eligibility criteria, could come in person / call / email and get the
application form which has to be duly filled and brought to the test venue.
