1. KEY TASKS:
2. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work in senior level IT strategic cloud advisory engagements which includes:
o Cloud readiness assessment
o Cloud migration roadmap
o Create business case for cloud adoption
• Conduct Cloud based training/workshops
• Communicate Cloud Strategy services and updates to Executives on a consistent and proactive
basis due to the high visibility of these projects.
• Support the sales process for Cloud Strategy services by presenting TrueIDC’s Cloud
technologies/services approach and value and help architect solutions.
• Capture and store service delivery intellectual property for reuse by helping to develop a formal
cloud platform implementation methodology
• Conduct discovery engagements with clients to understand their current state and document
their future state
• Create GAP analysis
• Present complex ideas in concise written and verbal communications
• Create high quality engagement deliverables
• Help establish methodologies and best practices for cloud based consulting engagements
• Business Acumen – Mapping cloud technology to the business value for a client.
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to cloud configuration, mapping, process, and
service records
• Ensure compatibility and interoperability of computing systems and Cloud systems
• Coordinate and perform in-depth tests including end-user reviews, for modified and new Cloud
systems
• Monitor and test Cloud performance, prepare and delivery Cloud performance statistics and
reports

2. • Design and perform server and security audits, Cloud backup procedures, and other recovery
processes in accordance with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity
strategies
• Oversee the planning, design and implementation of Cloud Engineer projects
3. SPECIFICATION/JOB REQUIRMENT
• Subject matter expertise in Cloud, Data Center operations, data architecture of IT consulting
• 3-5 years of experience in delivering IT consulting engagements
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as virtualization, networking, servers, storage,
workloads/applications
• Understand key difference between Public Cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services,
Microsoft Azure, Google, Rackspace and VMWare.
• Familiarity with cloud application architecture and concepts
• Cloud infrastructure concepts and delivery models, including private, public and hybrid cloud
platforms
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
• Good project management skills
• Ability to conduct research into Cloud system issues and products as required
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
• Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
