I teach as a Science Teacher (grade 6) and Math (grade 7 and 8) for Lower Middle
School at Sekolah Global Indo-Asia, Batam now. We use Cambridge Secondary
Checkpoint and IGCSE Curriculum to develop students’ knowledge and skill. I use vary
of strategies and techniques to approach students in learning process in the classroom.
I was a Teacher at Aljabr Islamic School which one of International School in South Jakarta
implementing International Baccalaureate (IB) and National Curriculum for Primary
(IB-PYP) and Middle School Program (IB-MYP). Science and Math were my focus
subject that had to teach to grade 3 and 4 students. At Middle School level (grade 6,7,and
8), science was my concentration area. Carrying out inquiry-based learning to deliver the
program was required by IB and Curriculum 2013 and KTSP (active learning) standard.
The usage of English and Bahasa Indonesia as communication tools were mandatory at the
school which apply bilingual in languange. We must follow IB and KTSP regulations to run
whole school program in order to achieve high learning standard so that the students are
centre of learning process.
I was a representative Lecturer of LBPP-LIA Mercu Buana to teach Business English and
TOIEC for employee class at Mercu Buana University. The programme applied
Cambridge Business English Benchmark Curriculum as main resource in the classroom
combined with TOIEC supplementary workbook. In team, we construcedt and design
related activities which supported and guided our students to achieve the learning objective of
the unit. The aim of this course was to prepare students to get Business English Certificate
(BEC) which issued by University of Cambridge International Examination (CIE) and
passed the TOIEC standard score.
I was also a Teacher Trainer at Al-Jabr Education Center. I designed my own module,
slide power point presentation and provided training materials which required for training
session in the classroom. The participants were teachers from local school whom wanted to
develop their concepts and skills about student-centered program and active learning
approach and others program that approriate with Curriculum 2013 (KTSP). I acted as
Assisstant Manager Training and build a professional training team with my working
partners and Training Manager.
I have Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers (CIDTT)
Certificate which issued by University of Cambridge International Examination (CIE)
