  3. 3. The 2018-2019 Westlake Warriors Boys Basketball Team looks to improve once again on a successful 2017-2018 season that saw the team finish 18-10. The team is extremely young, with only two seniors and returning only four players from the 2017-2018 season. This year’s team will look to push the basketball creating an up-tempo and unselfish style of play on both ends of the floor. This team has the ability to shoot the basketball as well as score in the paint off drives and fast breaks. The team’s success will depend on team chemistry, rebounding, energy, and mental toughness. This group has the mindset of WE, and doing it the Right Way Every Day, both on and off the court. The combination of committing to playing for each other and having the toughness on the court will be a big factor in the team’s success. Good teams become great ones when the members trust each other enough to surrender the ME for the WE. Last, and as always, the team will feed off the Warrior Nation and Tribe’s support at all their games. #WE #RightWayEveryDay. WHS_Basketball_MG_2019.indd 3 12/10/18 11:06 PM
