Presentation given at the Georgia Center for Nonprofits' 2013 Nonprofit Summit. Presented by YNPN National in partnership with YNPN Atlanta. Nonprofit organizations operate under many different missions but our sector shares a common goal of building healthier, happier, more just communities. The challenges to meeting this shared goal are becoming more and more complex but the nonprofit sector is rising to meet the challenge in a number of ways. Most promising is the sector’s growing acknowledgment that nothing is more critical to reaching our shared goal than attracting and developing diverse talent. During this session we will present YNPN’s time-tested framework for cultivating leadership – particularly next generation leadership – within organizations and across the sector.
