About Project: The part D V pin having a child part of pump ,this will help to flow of
pressurized oil ,it contain small critical holes of dia 0.28 +0.01mm and dia 0.65 +0.01
mm, operation will done by manually using fixture.

2016. 3 lakh per annum
 Control spool: The part having a child part of pump, and it contain heat treatment,
blackening and grinding process, Form dimension like cylindricity and roundness of
0.003 microns, operation will done by centerless grinding.
Duration and Quantity: August 25th
2015 to October 28th
2015. 2.5 lakh per annum.
 Pin terminal: The part pin terminal is a major part of glow plug assembly and it having a
plating process, and thread gauge of M4x0.7-6e, the thread will done by thread rolling
Audit: M/s Bosch conducted VDA 6.3 process audit on July 2016 got 89% result.
 Pump barrel: Pump barrel having a major part of railway pump and it contain a through
hole of 5+0.03 mm with the concentricity of 0.100 micron, this part will done by Mazak
machine.
Quantity: This parts comes under series production 12 thousand / annum
 Hydraulic parts: I done the project on export components like CEK valf, Poppet valf,
Mill axil, Bosaltama valf……and it’s contain a roughness of Ra 3 and it will done by
cylindrical grinding process.
 I also done the project on series parts like connector, retaining pin, stop ring, Hollow bolt,
D V Holder, slider…….ect.

Project Name: Properties Investigation of Austempered ductile Iron
Abstract: Austempered ductile iron has fount enormous Application in recent years due to its high
strength and hardness coupled with good ductility and toughness. Hence in my academic project work
various properties of AUSTEMPERED DUCTILE IRON (ADI) have been investigated. Properties like
compressive properties, micro structure study and wear test are investigated by subjecting the ductile iron
to austensing then austempering for 3 different temperature 250 ºC ,300 ºC ,350 ºC and for three different
time duration like 1 hour, 1.5 hour and 2 hours.
Conclusion:
