  1. 1. Introduction- Youthtrain Foundation is formed by a group of Young professional social workers, believes in empowerment process comes through training and guidance. Our Specific Goal and Aim is to enhance the capacity of youth and bring sustainable development through training and empowerment based programme. A group of dedicated and motivated well qualified individuals came together with a dream of embittering lives of poorest of the poor segment of our society by initiating welfare activities for the under privileged and disadvantaged poor of the Maharashtra State. The society was registered in the year 2014 with the Assistant Charity Commissioner, Guwahati of the society and since its inception welfare and development activities are being conducted for the grass root down trodden in Assam, Meghalaya, Maharashtra and Orissa State. The target group of the society is economically weaker Sections of the rural/urban, tribal and minority communities and their overall development to bring them in the main stream of development by empowering them for their active participation in the process of development. To build the capacities of most neglected and under privileged segment of the society and their development are the main motto of the Youthtrain Foundation. With the above views and aims, the activities related to training on life skill education, employability skill, income generation, social awareness, self-employment, governance, community development etc. are being under taken by the organization. Vision- “To work as a mechanism in bringing sustainable change in the life of under privileged young generation of the society by engaging different stakeholder of development and by adopting unsurpassed standard of governance” Mission- “To enhance the Capability of the youth through training and more focused will be on management and social based programme for all kind of needy Stakeholders to eradicate the inequality from the society.” ORGANIZATION PROFILE Youthtrain Foundation

Objective-  Socio-economics development of the rural/urban, tribal and minority socially disadvantaged communities.  To organize income generating activities for improving economic status of the poor.  Capacity building of the women and under privileged sections of the society.  To organize Entrepreneurship Development Programmes for rural/urban, tribal and minority youths for self-employment.  To organize activities for empowerment of Panchayat Raj Institutions.  To promote indigenous rural technologies.  Promotion and formation of SHG,s for economic betterment of rural/urban, tribal and minority economically weaker sections of the society.  To organize trainings, workshops for promoting and developing local leadership.  Confidence building among the local youths and capacity building of elected representatives of Panchayat, especially women, tribal / rural.  Advocacy for the aged and handicapped and their rehabilitations.  To make the rural poor and tribal communities aware about the various Govt. welfare schemes and activities for their development.  To promote Health related activities especially mother and child care, HIV Aids, safe drinking water.  To make beneficiaries aware about NREGP and other important programmes in the interest of the poor.  To empower and build the capacities of CBO,s, Local mandals and SHG,s of the villages.  To impart non-formal education and promote functional literacy.  Vocational training for self-employment on forest produce and agro products available in the villages. Programmes and Activities being implemented by the organization  Promotion of SHG,s and CBO’s,  PRI Trainings  Capacity Building of the women.  Vocational Training for Self Employment.  Sustainable livelihood activities.
  3. 3.  Awareness programs on NREGP and other important programmes like Indira Awas, Antyodaya, old age pension, programmes for handicapped.  Leadership and confidence building programme for Youths.  Programmes on providing livelihood options. Our area of Operation- The area of operation of Youthtrain Foundation is Maharashtra, Assam, Orissa, and other state of India State. Target Group- Rural, urban poor, Tribal and minority underprivileged communities of the society. Our special emphasis is on welfare and development of women, child, aged and handicapped vulnerable segment of the society. Agriculture and watershed development activities and health are on priority list. Strategies of the Work - The organization strongly believes that active participation of the beneficiaries for success of any activity is inevitable and hence the organization involves the beneficiaries right from the stage of planning, monitoring and evaluation of the programmes for sustainability and long lasting impact.   4. 4. Governance: The organization has an executive body of members which is responsible for policy matters, monitoring and evaluation of the programme and its sustainability. The qualified experts / advisors and field staff supports for the realization of the objectives of the organization. Strength of the Organization- The organization has strong support and involvement of experts in following fields.  Life Skill Education: Training on Life Skills has become extremely essential with the growing competitive environment and peer pressure. Therefore, the use of life skills as been given due weight with respect to addressing these issues. Life Skills are not only wanted by the young but all.  Employability Skills: Employability skills are those skills necessary for getting successful in a job. They are the skills and attitudes that enable employees to make critical decisions and ultimately become strong ambassadors for the organization.  Project Management: Projects management is major aspects in the present era . The discipline involved in project management ensures that these projects are delivered according to specifics, within budget, and on-time.  Conflict management: Conflict management helps to find an alternative to any problem and successful implementation of the idea. Through conflict management skills, an individual explores all the possible reasons to resolve it as soon as possible.  Gender Awareness: Increasing gender awareness and improving gender and development practice is necessary in present context. It will reflect individuals, and explore basic gender equality approaches and emerging development issues through a gender lens.  Panchayati Raj Institution: Create awareness on "Duties and Responsibilities of PRI representatives and stakeholders”. The training provides participation method of the PRI Members particularly from poor and disadvantaged to promote effective civil action and ability to access and utilized information/ knowledge base. Project Implemented by Youthtrain Foundation ANIHA Project Our ingenuity to improve living prerequisite of orphans. We give distinctive vocation training to orphans for creating additional livelihood option for them to endure for the future prospect. It’s an ongoing project and where we are working with the orphans house children whom we called them as (special need children) we are providing them life skills and employability skills training program since October 2014. Vocational Skill Development Programme The vocational skill development programme for SC boys and girls of Nagpur district has been organized by Youthtrain Foundation with the technical support of Renaissance Institute of Technical Education, Nagpur and supported by Village Care Society.

Life skill training programme The Life skill development programme for school and college going boys and girls of various institutions of Orissa state has been organized by Youthtrain Foundation with the support of Individual funding source and some Institute.
