► Un quadripôle est un montage électronique possédant 4 bornes : deux bornes
d’entrée et deux bornes de sortie.
► Il s’agit en général un montage qui va traiter (filtrer, amplifier, …) un signal d’entrée
(tension ou/et courant) et fournir un signal de sortie (tension ou/et courant) en
conséquence.

4°) Propriétés des quadripôles passifs
► Un quadripôle passif est dit réciproque, car le principe de réciprocité de maxwell lui
est applicable.
► Ce principe permet de trouver des relations supplémentaires entre les paramètres de
la même matrice, et par conséquent, la réduction de la recherche à trois paramètres au
lieu de quatre.

5°) Propriétés des quadripôles passifs et symétriques
► Ces quadripôles possèdent des symétries géométriques et électriques.
► Les deux accès d'un quadripôle symétrique sont indiscernables : les indices
Correspondant 1 et 2 des paramètres des différentes matrices sont donc permutables
sans changement.
► En appliquant le principe de permutation des indices, on trouve, en plus des
relations de passivités réciprocités, des relations supplémentaires de symétrie.
► La recherche des paramètres des matrices se réduit cette fois - ci à moitié.
