Usability Trends Flash and HTML 5 competing for animation usage, standards Social Media MADNESS! Lightboxes, modal boxes, user interface to the max Simple shopping experience Reach out to your customer base for feedback (Yes, actually talk to your customer!) Proper lead funneling
Content Management Back end to Website Keep updated, fresh content for repeat visitors Blog, latest news, calendar of events, text/images

Microsites Microsite: Defined as an individual web page or cluster of web pages designed to function as an auxiliary supplement to a primary website Can be simple landing pages for lead generation, or sites directed at specific audiences
What does it all mean for me? Review your Website, stay ahead of the competition HOME BASE of web operations Ask yourself questions: Is my site highly usable? Did I ask my customers what they thought of the site? Do I ever update my content? Will it work on mobile?
