THE LONDON EYE THE LONDON EYE IS A BIG WHEEL. IT’S 135 METRES HIGH. IT STANDS BESIDE THE RIVER THAMES, NEAR THE HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT. YOU CAN RIDE ON THE WHEEL IN BIG PLASTIC CABINS. THE WHEEL TURNS VERY SLOWLY AND FROM THE TOP YOU CAN SEE ALL OF LONDON. THE VIEW IS MAGNIFICIENT.
PICCADILLY CIRCUS PICCADILLY CIRCUS, IS THE CENTRE OF NIGHT LIFE IN THE WEST END. IT IS ONE OF THE BEST KNOWN PLACES IN LONDON. IN THIS AREA THERE ARE MANY THEATRES AND RESTAURANTS. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SQUARE THERE IS THE STATUE OF EROS.
