1.5Problem Definition
Online ordering has increased the range of offers available there are also some emerging worries
due to examples of unfair commercial practices and lack of transparent related to such ordering.
Mostly up to now people use phone calls to order the desired product because people do not trust
in ordering through online. There are many fake website which use to get the credit card pin and
thief money.
Normal people are not being able to learn more about online ordering. There is not being able to
view the correct status of organization. The customers also are not able to order the product due

to the lack of time. So, it will also help the customer to order their required products and services
faithfully.
1.6Objective of the Study
With the large number of work opportunities the human workforce has increased. There is a need
of a system which can handle the data of such large number of employees in an organization.
The project is done under different objectives. There are some of the general and specific
objectives which are mentioned as follows:
 The online ordering will provide service to online customer and administration.
 It helps to make the work easier for administrator as well as customers who are willing to
buy the IT products.
 There is no chance of data loose.
 To increase and improve reliability of returns data.
 The work looks standard while using website rather than ordering by doing phone and
easy to understand by administrator and customer too.
1.7Methodology
Research methodology is the process of arriving to the situation of the problem through planed
and systematic dealing with the collection, analysis and interpretation of facts and figures.
1.7.1 Project Framework
The overall project is separated in to three sections.
Introduction
In this section, I have explained all the information of the organization and the store
management system of the organization. It includes the description about the current situation of
the organization and what system it used for the managing the store. Here, the objective of the
report, issue and problems related with the report, nature and sources of data of report, data and
information to create report, tools and techniques used along with the methods used to create
report are explained.
5
Analysis
In this section, analysis of the data that were collected is done. It involves the introduction of
the store management system, analysis of present and past situation of the organization.
Furthermore, it includes the function, advantage and working mechanism of the store
management system.
Discussion and Conclusion
This section includes the discussions or the outcomes from the interpretation of the objectives of
the reports, conclusion about the report and the recommendation is includes the solution that
can make the system more effective and efficient.
1.7.2 Nature and Source of data
There are basically two types of nature and sources of the data. They are described as follows:
a. Primary Source: primary source include observation, survey, interview and
questionnaires. Interview with directing manager have helped to fetch huge amount of
information regarding the current scenario, problems and future of the organization.
Discussions with different personnel from different department were undergone and hence
observation was made.
b. Secondary Source: the secondary sources used while completing this report are basically
various magazines, books, annual reports, training materials and internet.
1.7.3 Data and Information
It involves all the data and information were collected and found during the overall summer
project. The data and information that we are collected can be presented and analyzed in
quantitative as well as qualitative terms. It is the core part of the report where we understand the
issue of the firm, current situation of firm, current activities of the firm and the possible
solutions of the issue.
Here, various tools and techniques are used like statistical tools such as ratio analysis,
correlation analysis, regression analysis, profitability analysis etc. or can also use qualitative
6
tools and the best way is to combine both the qualitative and quantitative tools. The detail
analysis of data and information is presented in "chapter two".
1.7.4 Tools used
During this development of this report different tools are used. Mainly used tools are as follows:
 Microsoft word for documentation
 Google chrome as browser
 Notepad++ as text editor
 XAMPP as database and server
1.7.5 Techniques of project report analysis
Most of the data required for the project are collected through primary source. For collecting the
primary data, I prepared different questions, visited the organization, met the employees etc.
Another procedure of data collection is gathering information through internet, manuals which
is kept as secondary data. Essential data were collected with the help of following methods:
a. Interviews: interview is one of the important tools to collect the data by taking the
interview of the workers working in the organization, data can be collected. Some informal
interviews were conducted with the staff to support the reliability.
b. Questionnaire: data can be collected through questionnaire. Different questions can be
asked to the employees of the organization.
c. Observation: different situation and action were directly observed in order to collect
reliable information.
d. Data processing and techniques use: data and information are represented in different
table and diagrams with possible description.
e. Tools used: various materials as the source of secondary data such as office records,
website, manuals and surveys were used to understand the accuracy of problems and
situations. The structured questionnaires, interviews, observation were the primary source of
data.

CHAPTER TWO
TASK AND ACTIVITIES PERFORMED
2.1Analysis of task
2.1.1 Introduction to Store Management System
The Store Management System will be developing for the Universal Computer & Mobile
Center to maintain the records of the all the products i.e. Laptop, Computer, Mobile, Printer
and parts, Customers, Suppliers, Orders and generate the report as weekly, monthly or yearly.
In an organization with a small quantity of stock, one person might be placed in charge of it, if
the owner/manager does not look after it himself. Where the volume of stock is too large to be
handled on a part-time basis, one or more storekeepers will be required. Organizations with
large quantities of stock must employ trained store personnel under the control of a store
manager.
It is possible to state at what stage a store manager will be appointed by a particular
organization, as circumstances and sizes vary so greatly. But whatever its size and the volume
of its stocks, the success of the organization can depend to a large extent on the efficient
management of its store and stocks.
2.1.2 Analysis of past and present situation of the organization
The UCMC use the manual system for keeping records of all the transactions information. It
has to be replaced by streamline recording system with ordering facilities. The manual
recording system was tedious and hard to control. Manual system is slower, risk of errors. As
we know managing the records is most essential task for any organization. So, it must be
accurate which is easily provided by the system.
If the organization use this system, they can effectively manage the stores and also able to
overcome the faults of the manual system. This system is easier to use, cheap, convenient,
faster, accurate and time saving
8
2.2Activities
2.2.1 Problem Identification
The main problem of this organization is implementation is traditional recording system. As
the world becomes more digital in nature, and ever growing issue for the records management
group is the conversion of existing or incoming paper records to electronic forms. Privacy and
data protection are increasing issues in an any organization. The need to insure personal
information is not retaining unnecessarily has brought greater focus to retention schedules and
records disposal. Similarly the adaptation and implementation is another major issue.
Implementing required changes to organizational culture is a major challenge, since store
management is often seen as an unnecessary or low priority administrative task that can be
performed at the lowest levels within an organization. Conversion of paper record to
computerized form has been emerging issue.
2.2.2 Solution Design
Design is the process of implementing software solutions to one or more sets of problems. One
of the main components of software design is the software requirement analysis.
For this project there is one database is used. Database, which is used to store the information
of the people who are visiting the organization in the given time as well as validation of the
data they entered in the form is also done.

2.2.3 Implementation
Implementation is the carrying out, execution or practice of a plan, a method or any design,
idea, model, specification, standard or policy for doing something. As such, implementation is
the action that must flow any preliminary thinking in order for something to actually happen.
The design made on earlier phase was implemented in to a functional system using HTML,
PHP, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. The design is implemented in seven parts, Home page, About
us page, Solution page, Testimonial page, Gallery page, Contact us page and Login page.

2.3Findings
The process of finding the problem that the organization is facing and the way to recover those
problems is known as major finding. While doing the survey, there are some problems faced by
the customers of the organization. They do not get product or services as they desire and lack of
information of organization.
To overcome those problems a finite solution has made like a good website with proper
information of organization so that people do not face any location and information problems
and the main overcomes of the problem is about ordering the product. In past there is not sure
that ordering done by the customer is confirmed or not but now there is proper way for ordering
the product, where people can see availability of the product in the organization. When customer
can order they can get acknowledgment from the organization that product is ordered as per their
choice or the product that you ordered is not available currently. By getting this
acknowledgement message they can be more confirmed.

  • 7. 7 CHAPTER TWO TASK AND ACTIVITIES PERFORMED 2.1Analysis of task 2.1.1 Introduction to Store Management System The Store Management System will be developing for the Universal Computer & Mobile Center to maintain the records of the all the products i.e. Laptop, Computer, Mobile, Printer and parts, Customers, Suppliers, Orders and generate the report as weekly, monthly or yearly. In an organization with a small quantity of stock, one person might be placed in charge of it, if the owner/manager does not look after it himself. Where the volume of stock is too large to be handled on a part-time basis, one or more storekeepers will be required. Organizations with large quantities of stock must employ trained store personnel under the control of a store manager. It is possible to state at what stage a store manager will be appointed by a particular organization, as circumstances and sizes vary so greatly. But whatever its size and the volume of its stocks, the success of the organization can depend to a large extent on the efficient management of its store and stocks. 2.1.2 Analysis of past and present situation of the organization The UCMC use the manual system for keeping records of all the transactions information. It has to be replaced by streamline recording system with ordering facilities. The manual recording system was tedious and hard to control. Manual system is slower, risk of errors. As we know managing the records is most essential task for any organization. So, it must be accurate which is easily provided by the system. If the organization use this system, they can effectively manage the stores and also able to overcome the faults of the manual system. This system is easier to use, cheap, convenient, faster, accurate and time saving
  • 8. 8 2.2Activities 2.2.1 Problem Identification The main problem of this organization is implementation is traditional recording system. As the world becomes more digital in nature, and ever growing issue for the records management group is the conversion of existing or incoming paper records to electronic forms. Privacy and data protection are increasing issues in an any organization. The need to insure personal information is not retaining unnecessarily has brought greater focus to retention schedules and records disposal. Similarly the adaptation and implementation is another major issue. Implementing required changes to organizational culture is a major challenge, since store management is often seen as an unnecessary or low priority administrative task that can be performed at the lowest levels within an organization. Conversion of paper record to computerized form has been emerging issue. 2.2.2 Solution Design Design is the process of implementing software solutions to one or more sets of problems. One of the main components of software design is the software requirement analysis. For this project there is one database is used. • 14. 14 2.2(h) Login 2.3Findings The process of finding the problem that the organization is facing and the way to recover those problems is known as major finding. While doing the survey, there are some problems faced by the customers of the organization. They do not get product or services as they desire and lack of information of organization. To overcome those problems a finite solution has made like a good website with proper information of organization so that people do not face any location and information problems and the main overcomes of the problem is about ordering the product. In past there is not sure that ordering done by the customer is confirmed or not but now there is proper way for ordering the product, where people can see availability of the product in the organization. When customer can order they can get acknowledgment from the organization that product is ordered as per their choice or the product that you ordered is not available currently. By getting this acknowledgement message they can be more confirmed.
