2. Tech Tools As I progress through my study of the field of education I have been prepared with different strategies and pedagogies, but what about incorporating technology into my classroom. As an educator it is important to use this natural interest in technology to drive student interest

8. My use of Google Docs I have used Google docs in my own course work but I have also shared the features of this powerful tool with my students so that they could use it to complete a physics project. In the project students were not allowed to communicate in person so this Google docs feature enabled them to communicate and work collaboratively
9. Discovery Education (united streaming) The Discovery education website is a great tool for videos of all sorts. I used this tool to show episodes of the Discovery channel show mythbusters. The videos can be downloaded to avoid streaming errors and are always ready to go for viewing. The ability to show a video from a popular show on demand enables me to generate interest and to push engaged minds on to the science involved.
10. YouTube The birth of YouTube has been an interesting development for educators. Since anyone can post videos to YouTube many great educational videos are available YouTube is easy to use, just search and choose from multiple hits. Hundreds of applications are available for the SMART board, however my work with the SMART board has been on a very surface level
13. SMART Board I have used the SMART board to have student fill in blanks on pictures, to label diagrams, to complete problems, to choose jeopardy questions. As well drive PowerPoint slideshows and control students video choices for “plus 5’s”
