Installing the Ge'ez Virtual Keyboard for Android

1 “ root” your phone How you do this varies from device to device, you will need to look online to find out how to root your particular phone.

2 A word of caution Installing the keyboard requires a new system font so you need to install a new ROM on your phone This ROM is designed for use on an HTC Hero phone. You will lose all the data and applications already installed on your phone. You should backup any data and applications before you go any further

3 Get a new ROM Download the new ROM from: http://alexlittle.net/blog/download.php?file=geez-rom.zip and copy this to the SD card on your phone

4 Restart your phone Power off your phone. Then start by pressing both the on/off button and the home button simultaneously

5 On restart After a few seconds you will see this picture. Select the “Apply sdcard: choose.zip” option. Select the ROM file and press to confirm

6 Go get a coffee Installing the ROM will take a couple of minutes. Wait until it has finished.
