2. PROJECT: EUROPE
A friend of yours, who is living in Mongolia (Asia), phones you to tell
you that she/he is planning to visit Europe.
She/he won’t have too much time so he/she gave you in advance a list
of monuments that she/he would like to visit:
•ALAMBRA
•NOTRE DAME AND LOUVRE MUSEUM
•TREVI FONTAIN
•SAINT BASIL’S CATHEDRAL and RED SQUEARE
•HERMITAGE MUSEUM
•SANTA SOFIA (Hagia Sophia)
He/she doesn’t have a clue (no idea) where these places are or how
they are, so you have to make him a plan spending one day in each
place.
3. •Give some information about the country (name, population, history…)
and city where she/he will see each landmark (monument).
•Describe a little bit each monument WITH YOUR OWN WORDS. How
that monument is (size, shape, figures…), what you can see there
(old/new/enormous/ building, church, decoration…).
•Choose the best order to make the trip easier to your friend. It’s
easier to travel from Italy to Germany in one day than from Spain to
Russia.
• Recommend him/her the best way to travel from one monument (city)
to another (city):
•By plane (if the next monument is far away)
•By car, bus (if it is near)
•By ship...
