Thesis Statement On Diversity And Diversity
INTRODUCTION Jopwell is a recruiting firm which connects the minority job candidates with the
Tech companies in Silicon Valley. The main issue faced by the Tech companies is that the referral
candidates are not serving the purpose and they can't find talented minority candidates suitable to
their companies. The companies are aware of the benefits like increased financial returns by having
diversity in their workforce. Jopwell is currently serving 45 companies by providing them a pool of
thousands of talented minority candidates and has been successful in placing a significant number of
candidates in these companies. The company is focussing on diversifying the whole organization by
filling the non–technical roles as well like finance, marketing,...show more content...
The way in which an organization tackles diversity determines its negative or positive outcome. All
the 5 companies agreed that diversity has contributed to their success. Some barriers were identified
in managing diversity like the difficulties faced by women in managing the work and family, fear of
discrimination, resistance to change, diversity is not seen as an organizational priority, resistance to
change and unsupportive working environment for diverse employees. Diversity contributes to more
productivity but if not properly managed could hinder success. Research 3 [3] Objective of research:
Why diversity matters? Coverage Area: 366 public companies in Canada, UK, Latin America and
USA Findings and Conclusion: This research shows that women are still unrepresented in top
management globally. The difference in performance of the companies in the same country and
same industry implies that diversity serves a competitive differentiator. Certain companies focus on
gender diversity and others focus on ethnic and racial diversity but no company in the top quartile
focus on both. Companies which have greater diversity are able to attract top talent, improve internal
and external customer satisfaction, improve decision making and hence improve

The chemical poisoning in water have a great impact on humans because it can cause brain damage
and physical deformities in unborn fetuses. Pollution disrupts the natural food chain as well.
Pollutants such as lead and cadmium are eaten by tiny animals. Later, these animals are consumed by
fish and shellfish, and the food chain continues to be disrupted at all higher levels. Eventually,
humans are affected by this process as well. People can get diseases such as hepatitis by eating
seafood that has been poisoned. Besides, Water pollutants introduce abnormal conditions (harmful
chemicals, changes in water temperatures) into water bodies, disrupting existing ecosystems and can
potentially contribute to reducing biodiversity in that affected area – one of the effects of water
pollution. For example, the discharge of heated–up water from thermal and nuclear power plants into
a river can cause problems for aquatic organisms, which are fairly used to specific temperatures.
The increase in water temperatures could increase their metabolic rates and hence their need for
food. This could eventually lead to the depletion of food sources in that water region and in turn
cause a reduction in species population in that water region. Besides thermal pollution, water could
also be polluted via the entry of acidic substances into the water bodies through rivers, seas and
oceans. The effects of water pollution by this process, known as

Everyday Use Thesis Statement
General statement:
Mama understands the past and the significance of a family heritage. Her heritage including her
memories of her mother and grandma making quilts together by hands.
Topic sentence:
Alice Walker's "Everyday Use" introduces a clash between generations. Now and then, Maggie and
Dee.
Thesis Statement:
Alice Walker carefully portrays the three characters: The mother, Dee. And Maggie
Body A, Mama:
The character of Mama in the short story "Everyday Use" by Alice Walker endures through intense
times and takes advantage of what she has. She is a lady that tells things how they are, only plain
truth. She can be entertaining now and again and intense at others. She is self–portrayed as "a large,

The way the burning house, her stuck–up sister, and society influenced Maggie make her unique in
relation to others. Maggie was so damaged from her home burning down that she turned into a
meek and undervalued young lady. Maggie is so unsure that her mother says she walks like a dog
run over by a car: "chin on chest eyes on ground, feet in shuffle, ever since the fire that burned the
other house on the ground." This demonstrates that Maggie absence of self–confidence make her
frightened to look. She imagines that on the off chance that she can't see the individuals around
her, then they can't see her. What's more, Maggie's discernible scars have impacted on the way
she conducts herself. As indicated by Mama, when she was pulling Maggie out of the fire, her
arms were adhering, "her hair was smoking, and her dress was tumbling off her in minimal dark
papery pieces." This is huge light of the fact that indicates how much the flame really physically
scarred her. This additionally clarifies why she is so apprehensive about individuals seeing her.
Maggie's apparent compressed version of confirmation in herself is created basically by the fire.
The barbaric way Maggie's sister, Dee, presents herself awful impact on Maggie's certainly. At this
point when Dee inquired as to whether she can have some unique quilts and Mama says no on the
grounds that she

Thesis Statement On Water Scarcity
Rough Draft
Thesis statement: The world is on its way for a water shortage. Water is considered as an essential
for human existence. We all can survive without food for some day but no one can live without

Thesis Statement Of Odysseus
Thesis: In the novel "The Odyssey" Homer displays the main character Odysseus, the shepherd of
men, with god like qualities which clouds his judgement and sense of superiority that he will never

After Odysseus came from the encounter he had with the beautiful witch goddess Circe,, his men are
grateful to see him . His men gather around him like a master and a shepherd, his men surrounded

that he is bound to get away from all passings and assaults, his group isn't so blessed. Their lives
are in mortal peril since Odysseus considers them as child sheeps who should forfeit their lives for

Thesis Statement For Cyber Bullying

For many teenagers, social media plays a big role in their lives. Social media like Twitter,
Facebook, Instagram, Path and many more can be useful tools to keep in touch with friends
which live far away. Social media is one of the most used types of websites by teenagers. This
means it is commonly used for both good and bad purposes. Although social media can be used

causes for Cyberbullying to occur.
The impacts of cyber bullying for the victims can be underestimated because they are
mainly psychological and not physical. Cyber bullying in its extremes has led to the death of
several teenagers. Cyber bullying leads to depression and lack of enthusiasm for life that drives
the victim to suicide in order to escape the torment. Actually, the first step of preventing and
stopping cyber bullying starts with the individual themselves. They should respect the others and
also themselves because everyone has their human rights and no one cannot destroy it. Simple
steps like using the internet appropriately and not provoking other users are very effective in
preventing cyber bullying. Using internet as the media social is fine but trying to harm people by
spreading gossip or starting rumors and stealing someone password or hacking are bad things.
Technology is decreasing the ability for others to interact and communicate, which is
highly essential in today's world. While social media is a useful tool in our increasingly

The Power of Language Essay examples
The Power of Language Language plays an important role in communication by bringing people
together and enriching their relationships. Language can also alienate those who do not speak it
properly, or at all, from those who do. The essays, Mother Tongue, by Amy Tan, best known for
her book, The Joy Luck Club, and Se Habla Espanol, by Tanya Barrientos, delve into the many
powers that language holds. These essays reflect how by not speaking a language in proper form
and by not speaking a language at all, affects the lives of the subjects of the stories. People who can
speak a certain language, but only in 'broken' form, are generally looked down upon by native
language speakers. In her writing, Mother Tongue, Amy Tan writes about her

However, many Hispanic families were and in some cases, still are viewed as lower–class citizens.
According to Barrientos, "To me, speaking Spanish translated into being poor. It meant waiting
tables and cleaning hotel rooms. It meant being left off the cheerleading squad and receiving a
condescending smile from the guidance counselor when you said you planned on becoming a
lawyer or a doctor" (561). They are not respected in a lot of communities, they live dirty, and they
have bad jobs. These stereotypes are reasons why Barrientos did not want to be called Mexican
and never wanted to learn Spanish. If diversity had been celebrated when Barrientos was a child,
as it is celebrated and honored now, she would have grown up speaking Spanish and being proud of
her heritage. Children are very impressionable and tend to take on others' opinions as their own, but
as they grow older, they develop a greater understanding and perspective of the way things are and
the way they should be. As adults, both Tan and Barrientos learned to accept and embrace the
languages that previously embarrassed them. Barrientos immersed herself in her Mexican heritage
and enrolled in many Spanish classes. With each enrollment, she faced yet another stereotype that
came with being of Mexican ethnicity; her instructors thought she should already know Spanish
since she was Latina. Barrientos is now determined to learn her native language. Tan has learned to

Human trafficking is illegal trading in people for various forms of modern–day slavery such as
forced labor and commercial sexual exploitation (Lee, 2007, p. 56). Thesis statement: technological
transformation plays a crucial role in the facilitation of processes and practices that surround human
trafficking. In particular, networking technologies such as the internet, social media, and mobile
phones have served to increase the incidence of human trafficking. This paper looks into the ways in

They often use pseudonyms and code words to avoid attracting the attention of authorities. For
example, they may refer to their victim as an expensive teddy bear. Clients learn these code words
from various online forums (Lantonero, 2011, p. 16 – 17). Perpetrators also commonly conduct their
online activities on the hidden internet, where they make use of advanced encryption technologies to

Thesis Statement : Early Anxiety Essay
Thesis Statement: Early Anxiety is stemmed from many factors, however the main cause of anxiety
in adolescents is directly related to parenting and/or family influences.
As a child, life was hectic from the beginning. Dad was in and out of jail, and when he was out my
mom and him and my mother would indulge in hard drugs. Don 't get me wrong, when you 're so
twisted on drugs there is only so much your body and mind is capable of doing, right? Since I could
remember I've been the boss, the keeper of the responsibilities, almost like the parent of my parents.
Throughout school, i had constant anxiety about school, worrying about my little brother and
wondering if my parents were okay. Fast forward to the present time, still on a daily basis I struggle
with severe Anxiety. It truly never went away, it only got worse. If I would have had a better mother
daughter, or father daughter relationship or didn't have to watch my parrents struggle with their
anxiety and addictions, and i had to worry a lot less I would have never developed this anxiety.
Harpster 2.
Anxiety can be a very serious (disease/disorder) it is simply defined as an abnormal fear or tension
which can occur without any obvious trigger or session; a recurrence, unwelcome and intrusive

Cyber Security Breach : Thesis Statement
Wu Ka Ho – g4wukaho – L1 BA1200
Topic: scenario #3 – Cyber Security Breach
Thesis statement: In an incredibly interconnected world we all shared today, it is not unusual to hear
daily reports about aggressive cyber attacks on private and public sectors, which often results in
compromisation of personal information affecting lives of many at varying degrees; and in some
cases, the stolen information endangered the safety of countless otherwise innocent individuals. On
top of privacy infringement, exploitation of intellectual properties occasionally deals a disastrous
blow to the financial status and competitiveness of targeted companies, giving the offenders valuable
insights to leverage their wrongful intention. Nevertheless, the most detrimental form of attack are
the ones directed at corporations responsible for maintaining critical infrastructures of a country such
as power grid, nuclear facility, and public transportation. Any one of these infrastructures going under
siege would create inconsiderable economical and existential crisis threatening the country's stability,
welfare, and future.
In order to deal with ever encroaching threats at private, public and domestic levels, companies must
disclose cyber breaches to the public at appropriate time, despite issues like shareholder lawsuit,
embarrassment, and further future attacks. By promoting transparency on cyber securities, we
educate the public about safety measures on sharing private information, emphasize

Thesis About Family

THE PROBLEM AND ITS STUDY

Family is very important part of our everyday life. It helps us in improving our personality. It also
helps us in shaping our life. It teaches us the value of love, affection, care, truthfulness and
self–confidence and provides us tools and suggestions which are necessary to get success in life.
Family is a place where you can be yourself. It is a place where you are accepted for what you are.

Psychologists believe that a child learns the most from his or her family life. The way your
family members deal with you has a life long effect on your personality. Keeping in view all these
facts the importance of your family life cannot be denied. Family unit happens to be the most
important part of your life till you grow up. The children are usually closer to their parents and
their siblings as compared to any other person in the world. As the children grow up they find good
friends, spouses, their own kids and colleagues to share their lives with. Although time brings this
change but the importance of family remains there. The children who have a sound family
background and who belong to a family with strong family ties are almost always happier. Thus one
cannot deny the importance of family life.
The life with your family is very important it plays a major role in your development into the
person you become. The goals you set for yourself in your life are very much dependent on the
life you have with your family. Those children who belong to the families which have a rich

The chemical poisoning in water have a great impact on humans because it can cause brain damage and physical deformities in unborn fetuses. Pollution disrupts the natural food chain as well. Pollutants such as lead and cadmium are eaten by tiny animals. Later, these animals are consumed by fish and shellfish, and the food chain continues to be disrupted at all higher levels. Eventually, humans are affected by this process as well. People can get diseases such as hepatitis by eating seafood that has been poisoned. Besides, Water pollutants introduce abnormal conditions (harmful chemicals, changes in water temperatures) into water bodies, disrupting existing ecosystems and can potentially contribute to reducing biodiversity in that affected area – one of the effects of water pollution. For example, the discharge of heated–up water from thermal and nuclear power plants into a river can cause problems for aquatic organisms, which are fairly used to specific temperatures. The increase in water temperatures could increase their metabolic rates and hence their need for food. This could eventually lead to the depletion of food sources in that water region and in turn cause a reduction in species population in that water region. Besides thermal pollution, water could also be polluted via the entry of acidic substances into the water bodies through rivers, seas and oceans. This demonstrates that Maggie absence of self–confidence make her frightened to look. She imagines that on the off chance that she can't see the individuals around her, then they can't see her. What's more, Maggie's discernible scars have impacted on the way she conducts herself. As indicated by Mama, when she was pulling Maggie out of the fire, her arms were adhering, "her hair was smoking, and her dress was tumbling off her in minimal dark papery pieces." This is huge light of the fact that indicates how much the flame really physically scarred her. This additionally clarifies why she is so apprehensive about individuals seeing her. The essays, Mother Tongue, by Amy Tan, best known for her book, The Joy Luck Club, and Se Habla Espanol, by Tanya Barrientos, delve into the many powers that language holds. These essays reflect how by not speaking a language in proper form and by not speaking a language at all, affects the lives of the subjects of the stories. They are not respected in a lot of communities, they live dirty, and they have bad jobs. These stereotypes are reasons why Barrientos did not want to be called Mexican and never wanted to learn Spanish. If diversity had been celebrated when Barrientos was a child, as it is celebrated and honored now, she would have grown up speaking Spanish and being proud of her heritage. Children are very impressionable and tend to take on others' opinions as their own, but as they grow older, they develop a greater understanding and perspective of the way things are and the way they should be. As adults, both Tan and Barrientos learned to accept and embrace the languages that previously embarrassed them. Barrientos immersed herself in her Mexican heritage and enrolled in many Spanish classes. With each enrollment, she faced yet another stereotype that came with being of Mexican ethnicity; her instructors thought she should already know Spanish since she was Latina. They often use pseudonyms and code words to avoid attracting the attention of authorities. For example, they may refer to their victim as an expensive teddy bear. Clients learn these code words from various online forums (Lantonero, 2011, p. 16 – 17). Perpetrators also commonly conduct their online activities on the hidden internet, where they make use of advanced encryption technologies to evade digital forensic tools that police use to track their activities (Zagorianou, 2015 Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 15. Thesis Statement : Early Anxiety Essay Thesis Statement: Early Anxiety is stemmed from many factors, however the main cause of anxiety in adolescents is directly related to parenting and/or family influences. As a child, life was hectic from the beginning. Dad was in and out of jail, and when he was out my mom and him and my mother would indulge in hard drugs. Don 't get me wrong, when you 're so twisted on drugs there is only so much your body and mind is capable of doing, right? Since I could remember I've been the boss, the keeper of the responsibilities, almost like the parent of my parents. Throughout school, i had constant anxiety about school, worrying about my little brother and wondering if my parents were okay. Fast forward to the present time, still on a daily basis I struggle with severe Anxiety. It truly never went away, it only got worse. If I would have had a better mother daughter, or father daughter relationship or didn't have to watch my parrents struggle with their anxiety and addictions, and i had to worry a lot less I would have never developed this anxiety. Cyber Security Breach : Thesis Statement Wu Ka Ho – g4wukaho – L1 BA1200 Topic: scenario #3 – Cyber Security Breach Thesis statement: In an incredibly interconnected world we all shared today, it is not unusual to hear daily reports about aggressive cyber attacks on private and public sectors, which often results in compromisation of personal information affecting lives of many at varying degrees; and in some cases, the stolen information endangered the safety of countless otherwise innocent individuals. On top of privacy infringement, exploitation of intellectual properties occasionally deals a disastrous blow to the financial status and competitiveness of targeted companies, giving the offenders valuable insights to leverage their wrongful intention. Nevertheless, the most detrimental form of attack are the ones directed at corporations responsible for maintaining critical infrastructures of a country such as power grid, nuclear facility, and public transportation. Any one of these infrastructures going under siege would create inconsiderable economical and existential crisis threatening the country's stability, welfare, and future. In order to deal with ever encroaching threats at private, public and domestic levels, companies must disclose cyber breaches to the public at appropriate time, despite issues like shareholder lawsuit, embarrassment, and further future attacks. By promoting transparency on cyber securities, we educate the public about safety measures on sharing private information, emphasize Get more content on HelpWriting.net
