Europe and Asia. Bosphorus separates Asia from
Europe. It is in istanbul.
• Turkey is a peninsula. Black sea is in the north, Aegian
sea is in the west and Mediterranean sea is in the south
of Turkey . And it has got the marmara sea in the
northwestern of Turkey.

• Oceanic Climate : With warm, west summers and cool to
cold ,wet winters.
• Mediterranean Climate : With hot , dry summers and
mild to cool , wet winters.
• Continental Climate : With warm, dry summers and very
cold and snowy winters.

6. FAUNA : There are almost 1279 animal
species in Turkey.
• Cat of Van : (Van is a city that is in the east of turkey.This
cat is white and one of its eye is blue, the other one is green.)
• Dof of Kangal : (This dog belons to sivas is a city that is in
the middle of Turkey. These dogs are very very big.)

• The biggest island:Gökceada (Gökce ısland) - 817 Km²
