8. For the 7th year in a row, the AMC Doggy Dash gave a dog and human team
the chance to compete in tandem over a 5 mile course through Central Park
as part of the NYC Triathlon. Twenty-nine dogs participated and were
examined before, during and after the race by seven AMC veterinarians and
four AMC veterinary technicians.
