with Students
Demonstrate Care for Students-
a. Sincerely listen to them
b. Empathize with them
c. Show an interest in their personal lives
4. Prevent and reduce your own frustration and stress-
a. Be patient with children.
b. Take your students for a walk (fresh air)
c. Assign your students independent reading time
5. Treat Students with Equity-
Do not express favouritism or favour for particular
students while leaving out the rest. Be fair!
Make Positive Remarks-
Avoid calling students ‘duncy’ or ‘idiot’. Encourage
them perform better by saying, “I know you have the
potential to do very well if you work harder.” Praise
them on a well done performance.
6. Practical ways in which a teacher can
develop positive relationship with
Parents
Communicate Often with them in Various Forms. For
eg. Face-to-Face, via Email, Social Media Chat Group
with Parents. Can be done once a week.
The purpose is to keep them abreast of what’s going on
in the classroom, their child’s performance, your
expectation and also offer advice in helping the children.
7. Invite Parent to Participate In Making Some
Decisions-

Be respectable, courteous and polite with fellow
teachers.
Avoid bickering with other teachers.
