2. Song idea
I want to film a music video to the song ‘The Last Of The Real Ones’
by Fall-Out Boy.
Reasons why I want to do this song…
The lyrics are quite easy to put a story behind them.
Its upbeat and is very catchy, so even if people don’t know the song, the
lyrics are easily picked up.
The chorus is repeated several times so this could make several oppertunities
to show a story passing.
3. Digipak idea - -Front Cover

The Front Cover
The front cover of the Digipak will not need a background colour as
it’ll be covered in the main image of the band. This will help the
audience identify who the band actually are.
The album title and band name will be displayed as showed on the
right. I think that this will help convey the punk-pop genre as its
different to most of the chart albums out at the moment. I also
creates an edgy effect to the front.
The main image will most likely be similar to other band images in
the same genre. I think this will help convey the genre. It will also not
be too time consuming so I can even spread out my time on ally
pieces.

4. Cd

Digipak idea - Back Cover
The Back Cover
The back cover of this digipak will be a black backgrounded cover
with a medium sized image of the band to the left and the song
listings and legal info to the right.
The font will be the same font as the front cover and disk, although it
will be in white, this will make it stand out against the background
and make it easier to read.
The image will be a slightly different image to the one on the front
cover.
Alongside the legal info and thanks there will be the logo of the
band. This will help with recognition of the band.

Digipak idea – Cd Disk
The CD Disk
The CD is going to be quite simple. With a black background and
white writing.
The font will be the same as the front cover and the back cover. This
will tie the whole digipak together.
The CD being quite plain helps everything not look too much. It also
make it look a bit different as it doesn’t all look the exact same.

The Magazine Album Advert
This magazine advert is quite stereotypical. The image is going to be
the same as the main image on the CD front cover.
The font used will also be the same.
These aspects being the same help with recognition to the fans. It
also ties in all the bands work together and makes it look more
professional.
The tour dates section helps advertise the band more and if there are
fans of the band this will help with audience appeal.
Having featured songs and bonus tracks makes the CD sound more
appealing and may make them want to buy it more if you get extra
things.
7. Music Video
Idea
The story is based on a man pining after a girl. Everyone around them seem to be fake or doing the same
things that are seen as acceptable in society. However this girl plays by her own rules and doesn’t
conform to society’s rules. The video will be shot in numerous different places where a bunch of people
being ‘basic’ can be contrasted with the girl the man likes. As she goes round the local shops and town
in the background he will be following her and lip-syncing to the song. A lot of spin shots will be used
to show that its only her that he cares about. The girl does several things that people these days aren’t
seen to be doing normally. Like helping people carry shopping or across the road. Even donating to the
homeless. A lot of the time the camera will be walking towards the girl so we can see the man behind her.
The clothing she wears will not be what most girls are seen in nowadays, stripped back and little to no
make up as she’s naturally pretty. Towards the end the girl is walking towards the coffee shop as she
(trips/carries too much) and drops her bags. The man runs to her aid and helps her up. They both walk to
the coffee shop, and as the song is ending he goes to get them both a drink and as he’s followed her
around he knows to get her a certain drink. He walks over to the table and places it down, she turns it
round and on the cup it says ‘you’re the last of the real ones’. The camera goes out the shop window and
sees them talking and the song ends and screen goes black.
