  3. 3. What is Web 2.0? <ul><li>Web 2.0 refers to a perceived second generation of web-based communities and hosted services; such as social networking sites, wikis, weblogs, social bookmarking, podcasts, collaborative planning software, RSS feeds, etc. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Web 2.0 Definitions <ul><li>Blog: A blog is a website where entries are written in chronological order and commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Wiki: <ul><li>A collaborative website which can be directly edited by anyone with access to it. One of the best known wikis is Wikipedia. A defining characteristic of the wiki technology is the ease with which pages can be created and updated colaboratively through a simple mark up language using a web browser. </li></ul>
  6. 6. RSS: <ul><li>&quot;Really Simple Syndication&quot; is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content such as websites, news headlines, blogs, podcasts, etc. </li></ul>
