  5. Type Disinfectant To Be Use • Detergent/ soap and water • Cidex solution • 70% methyelated spirit • Sodium hypochlorite 0.5%,1%, 2%,
  6. AREA TO BE COLLECT • ICU • HDU • PVT • ISOLATION
  7. DURATION OF COLLECTION • 24 HOURS (8 AM-8AM) Followed by 1 % sodium hypochlorite pray in red polythene bag with tie the knot
  8. Trainning detail List of Employee: • Staff nurse • Nursing students • Ward Aya/boy Area for training : LT hospital building Area for demonstration: GYN.OPD Time for demonstration: 10.30am to 12.30 pm
  9. Area for collection of used devices covid-19 hospital • Collection area: all wards • Collection area for 24 hrs: Lying Room in front of ICU • Washing area: in front of SICU ward • Drying area: ICU 2 demo room • Packing area: ICU 2 demo room
  10. Method of cleaning • Take one one devices from red polythene bag to wash under running water . • After washing place in detergent bucket to cleaning purpose • Detergent water to be prepare as per ratio 1:20 dilution must prepare it • After washing running water
  11. After cleaning procedure • After cleaning of equipment or devices must wipe with disinfectant followed by dry it then pack and send it to CSSD department • ETO process will begin in CSSD
  12. Demonstration • Two group: • 3 nurses each group • 3 ward aya each group • 1 nursing students • Practice : • Washing area • Drying area • Packing area
  13. Recapping • Which are the medical devices going to re use? • Which type of chemical can use to disinfect the devices? • Duration of devices collection from all wards? • What type of water use to clean the devices? • Can you identify the devices ? • NRM mask? • HFNC mask? • Nasal prongs ? • Bain circuit? • ET tube ? • O2 mask?
