Hilbert’s mill
Hilbert's mill was built in the
1840s. Tough and recovered
with the help of the Hilbert
family until World War II. In

Lake in Bielawa

Bielawskie Lake is the beach and
the swimming pool. On the island

the Sowie Mountains, 964 m

start in Bielawa near the so-
called Leśny Dworek and at
the top of the Jugowska
Pass.

Canoe route
The City Park in Bielawa is one
of the most interesting tourist
attractions of the district. Here,
surrounded by nature, you can
go canoeing or pedal boat trips.
Equipment rental is run by the
Sports and Recreation Centre.
It is the only canoe route in the
region in the city park.

Rope park
In Bielawski Park Miejski, you can
also use the 200-meter cable route,
which is ideal not only for adults, but
also for children and adolescents. In
addition to the rope route, the city
park has two low rope routes.

Forest school
The Forest School is an educational
center in Bielawie, located in the
centers of the Sowie Mountains
Landscape Park. The facility
promotes the pro-ecological strategy
and is a component of the city's
ecological strategy. Due to the fact
that he does not study in lessons, he
decides to observe many natural
phenomena.

Bicycle routes
Thanks to the terrain and perfectly
prepared routes, Dzierżoniów County is
an ideal place for all cyclists. Here you can
find landscape trails leading among small
hills, green surrounding fields,
architectural monuments and interesting,
charming nooks with wonderful views of
the Dzierżoniów Valley and the Sowie
Mountains panorama. More demanding
cyclists can take advantage of many
mountain routes leading among the peaks
and valleys of the Owl Mountains.

Big Owl
Traveling through these areas of the Owl Mountains, you can meet deer, foxes and roe
deer, as well as mouflons and, of course, owls. However, at any time of the year,
thousands of tourists visit the Sowie Mountains to stand on their peak called Wielka
Sowa - the Great Owl (1015 m above sea level). The lookout tower is considered by many
to be the most beautiful lookout tower in Lower Silesia.

Dzierżoniów is a tourist route
leading through the most
interesting sites in
Dzierżoniów. You can
overcome it by yourself,
guided by the characteristic
image of the dragon.

Zbyszek cinema
"Zbyszek" CINEMA - owes its
name to Zbyszek Cybulski - an
outstanding Polish actor who lived
in Dzierżoniów in the years 1945-
1947 and studied at the local
gymnasium. We can admire his
unforgettable creations in such
famous titles as "Ashes and
Diamonds", "Goodbye Until
Tomorrow", "Giuseppe in Warsaw".

Museum of weapons and military
The Museum of Weapons and Military was established
in 1999 in Świdnica, in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship,
on the initiative of the originator and founder of the
first facility of this type in Poland - Stanisław Gabrys. It
is the result of the hard work of private individuals and
the strenuous and long-term efforts of a visionary and
military enthusiast from Świdnica. The museum is the
only institution of this type operating on the basis of
the Regulations of the Ministry of Culture and
National Heritage, under the patronage of the Ministry
of National Defense, which constantly and vigorously
cooperates with the institution, providing visitors with
more and more new gems, at the same time expanding
the collection of over 2,000 exhibits.

The ice rink is one of the
greatest recreational and sports
attractions in Świdnica. Fully
safe, and, importantly, always
with a perfectly prepared
surface for all those who treat
ice skating as a recreational
activity, as well as for those who
skate very well.

Książ castle
Castle complex, located in the Książ
district in Wałbrzych in Pogórza
Wałbrzyskie, the next one in the Książ
Landscape Park. The Piast Castle Trail
runs through the facility and is the
second largest castle in Poland.The
building has over 400 rooms, and about
600 with farm buildings, its area from
the ground floor to the 4th floor is
10,062 m2, while the 5th floor is 894
m2, in total it is up to approx. 3,000 sq
m. 11,000 sq m m2 (without the area
of the castle cellars).

Coalmine
The Underground Tourist
Route in the area of the former
"Piast" mining field of the
"Nowa Ruda" mine in Nowa
Ruda shows the rich, over 500-
year-old history and tradition of
coal mining in the Nowa Ruda
region, the oldest coal mining in
Poland.
