Editor's Notes

  1. I think that with technology and teachers, it needs to be gradual. They can begin to use interactive whiteboards with video, typically a traditional way of teaching, but can be quite powerful, or motivational for students. It makes things faster, more seamless. So often its referred to as a Trojan Horse. It needs to be a more gradual change. Rome wasn’t built in a day. It’s easy for us to see the potential but we have that knowledge. We talked yesterday about MST and how teachers have difficulty transferring their knowledge to pupils because they know it so well. Same with ICT. Perhaps we know it so well that we don’t start with the building blocks.
