  2. 2. THIS IS A DISCUSSION, NOT A LECTURE • I hope it will be a very back and forth conversation • I am going to take up about a half hour of our time • So you can ask questions and add ideas during our time together • We will come up with ideas together that work for you

THOUGHT • Be comfortable with looking forward without giving up what you have • We should not be about waiting for something to be mainstream we should be making it mainstream • You do not need to be cutting edge, you do not need to make your self bleed but you do not want to be run over by the future • No one is future proof, how do we help people, and ourselves, prepare • Being on the cutting edge does not mean thoughtlessly slicing off what already works. • It's about moving forward and adding to what we know and do best
