Everyone have been appreciating chocolate in some form or another for thousands of years, from
hot, mud-colored drink to the candy bars bought today at convenience stores. But the story of
chocolate isn’t mainly well known. Today, chocolate is spent in almost every corner of the globe in
many commercial methods. Cocoa beans are developed and gathered in a world-wide “cacao belt,”
each geographic region contributing beans that vary in flavor.
Chocolate can have both advantage and disadvantage effects on personal health. Chocolate has been
apparently an aphrodisiac. While this has never been scientifically confirmed, studies on the other
effects of one of the world’s desired foods have been more decisive.
Cocoa or dark chocolate helps blood circulation. Other studies have suggested it has anticancer
benefits, stimulate the brain, prevent coughs, and help mitigate diarrhea. Uncontrollable large
quantities of chocolate are believed to growth the risk of obesity. Raw chocolate is high in cocoa
butter, a fat which is detached during refining but added back during the manufacturing procedure.
Other fats, sugars and milk that is added upsurge the calories in chocolate.
Does eating chocolate put you in a good mood? Some studies show that melting chocolate in one’
mouth created an rise in brain activity and heart rate that was more powerful than the feelings
connected with a passionate kiss, and lasted four times longer.
Chocolate Custard

Ingredients:
2 cups milk, ½ cup chocolate, ¼ cup
white sugar, 4 eggs

Preparation Instructions:
Grate and melt the chocolate in saucepan
with little water. To this add milk, mix
well and boil it again. Beat the eggs and
sugar together till fluffy. Add the
chocolate and milk and mix well. Pour
this into a pudding dish and level it. Set
pudding dish in a baking pan partially
filled with water. Bake it in a preheated
oven for about 30 to 35 minutes at 350
degree F.
Chocolate Bread
Pudding

Ingredients:
1 or 2 large croissants cut into ½ in. pieces, 2
cups heavy cream, ½ cup + granulated sugar, 1
vanilla bean (cut in half), Salt, 6 egg yolks, ¾ lb.
semisweet chocolate, chopped,

Preparation Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Butter six 6
oz. custard cups or a single 5 or 6 in. baking
dish; dust with sugar. Divide croissant pieces
among the cups or pour them all into the
baking dish. In a heavy saucepan placed over
medium heat, stir together the cream, sugar,
vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Scald, but don’t
boil. Remove the vanilla bean. In the bowl of an
electric mixer, beat the egg yolks and half the
scalded mixture. Pour the combination into the
saucepan. Add the chocolate and stir constantly
until melted, about 15 minutes. Don’t boil.
Spoon the batter into the cups or baking dish.
Place the cups or dish in a pan of water and
bake about 45 to 50 minutes, or until set and a
knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Chocolate Custard

Ingredients:
2 cup milk, 3 eggs, 1/4 cup white sugar,
1 tsp. vanilla extract, Pinch of salt, ½
cup dark chocolate chips,

Preparation Instructions:

In a saucepan melt the chocolate chips
with the milk on low heat. Beat the eggs
slightly and add white sugar, vanilla,
and salt. Mix well. Pour the melted
chocolate into the egg mixture and
blend slightly. Pour into custard cups
and place the cups in a pan of standing
hot water. Bake for about 40-45 minutes
in a preheated oven at 325 degree F.
Homemade
Chocolate Pudding
Servings: 4
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:
1 ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate, ½ ml milk, 1
½ cup sugar, 30 grams sugar - for egg
whites, ¼ cup gelatin, unflavored, 3 large
eggs - separate egg whites and egg yolks

Preparation Instructions:

In a saucepan melt the chocolate until
smooth. In a separate saucepan mix gelatin
and hot water, keep stirring. Blend well.
Beat egg yolk and sugar, you can hand
blender if required. Once cooked milk in
low medium, combine egg yolk chocolate
and gelatin. Beat egg whites and 30 g sugar
with electric mixture until stiff peaks. Then
add the cool chocolate mixture to the egg
whites. Fold the mixture into greased pan
and refrigerate to set for 2 hours. Serve
with whipped cream if desired.
All-American
Chocolate Cake
Servings: 4
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:
100gms unsweetened chocolate, 2 tablespoon
butter, melted. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract,
175 grams all-purpose flour, 200gms white
sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1
teaspoon baking soda, 1 tsp salt
100ml skimmed milk, 3 large eggs, well
beaten

Preparation Instructions:

In a saucepan, melt the chocolate by stirring it
over low heat until smooth and melted. Add
the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, mix the
flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and
salt, stirring well. Pour the chocolate mixture
into the dry mixture and stir. Stir in the
butter, milk and eggs, beating until smooth.
Transfer the batter to a cake pan and bake it
in a 350 degree F. preheated oven for about
30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in
the center of the cake comes out clean.
Chocolate Cake (
Moelleux au
chocolat)
Servings: 10
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Recommended Wine: Banyuls grand
cru
Difficulty Level: Average

Ingredients:
19 ½ oz. butter, 21 oz. chocolate, 18 egg
whites, 4 cup sugar, 2 1/2 cup flour

Preparation Instructions:

Melt butter. Add chocolate pieces and
melt, stirring constantly. Mix egg
whites with sugar. Mix in flour. Pour
mixture into prepared molds. Bake 3 to
4 minutes in a 350 degrees F oven.
Soft Cake with
Walnuts
Servings: 8
Preparation Time: 35 minutes
Cooking Time: 35 minutes
Recommended Wine:Arbois vin de Paille

Ingredients:
3 ½ tablespoons flour, 6 tablespoons butter,
6 tablespoons sugar, 3 egg yolks, 5 ¼ oz.
(about 2/3 cup) chopped walnuts, 15 egg
whites, 1.76 oz. dark chocolate, 0.7 oz.
(about 1 ½ tablespoons) cream

Preparation Instructions:

Mix the egg yolk with sugar and molten
butter. Add flour and chopped walnuts.
Beat the egg whites and add them to the
sugar mixture. Place the mixture in a
buttered and floured sponge cake mold.
Bake in a 338 degree F. oven for 40 minutes.
Cool. Boil the cream. Add chocolate and
simmer.
Chocolate Covered
Coffee Beans
Servings: 4
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:
1/2 cup roasted coffee beans, 3/4 cup
dark chocolate chips, Wax paper

Preparation Instructions:

Melt the chocolate chips in a saucepan
until a smooth paste is achieved. Add
the coffee beans, stirring until the beans
are completely covered with liquid
chocolate. Carefully remove the
chocolate covered beans and place
them, one by one, on the wax paper.
Freeze in a single layer for 30 minutes
or leave at room temperature overnight.
Store in an airtight container.
Chocolate Candy
Recipe
Servings: 4
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time:35 minutes

Ingredients:
150gms butter, 35 soda crackers, 1 cup brown
sugar, 2 cups sweet condensed milk, 250gms
cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, 3/4 cup
finely chopped walnuts

Preparation Instructions:

Preheat the oven at 380° F. Melt the butter on a
low flame. Pour 100gms of this melted butter
in a baking tray lined with foil. Break up
crackers and spread them on top of the butter.
To the remaining butter, add brown sugar.
Boil. Reduce the heat and simmer on a low
flame, stirring constantly, for a couple of
minutes. Remove from stove and add the milk.
Pour into a baking dish and bake for about 10-
12 minutes in a preheated oven at 185 degree
F. Allow to cool on a wire rack. On this, spread
chocolate chips evenly and set aside for 5
minutes. Place chopped walnuts on top and
push them lightly into the chocolate. Let cool
on the counter for 30 minutes, then refrigerate
for 30 minutes before serving.
Chocolate Crullers
Recipe
Servings: 2
Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
2 well beaten eggs, 1 cup white sugar, 1
tablespoon melted butter, 1 square grated
chocolate,
1 tablespoon cinnamon powder, 2/3 cup
sweet milk, 3 cups all-purpose flour, 2
teaspoons baking powder

Preparation Instructions:

Beat eggs, sugar, butter, chocolate, and
cinnamon together to get a smooth paste.
Add sweet milk and all purpose flour with
baking powder. Mix well. Roll out one-
fourth of an inch thick and cut with a
doughnut cutter. Place them on a baking
cookie try in a preheated oven for about 30-
35 minutes. Allow it to cool on a tray.
While the cookies are still hot; sprinkle
sugar powder on top. Place them on a
pudding dish and you are done.
Kraft Molten
Chocolate Cakes
Recipe

Ingredients:
2 eggs, 8 oz. of chocolate, 1 cup white sugar, 1
½ of all-purpose flour, 1 stick of butter, 1
teaspoon salt,
½ teaspoon vanilla essence

Preparation Instructions:

Melt the butter in a pan and add the
chocolate, making a paste. Stir occasionally.
In a separate bowl, blend together the all-
purpose flour, baking powder and salt. Mix
the white sugar and eggs until fluffy and
smooth. Add vanilla. Add the chocolate and
butter mixture. Add the dry ingredients.
Grease a microwave safe dish with oil or
butter and pour the batter into it. Bake for
about 7 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted
in the center comes out clean.
CACAO OF THE
NOW - Chocolate
Energy Superfood
Servings: 2
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Difficulty Level: Average

Ingredients:
CACAO OF THE NOW, Strawberries,
Serving dish

Preparation Instructions:

Melt CACAO OF THE NOW in a pan.
Take fresh strawberries and dip it into
the melted CACAO OF THE NOW.
Place them in the serving dish and
refrigerate it. Enjoy the chilled chocolate
strawberries.
Chocolate Sauce for
Ice Cream Recipe
Servings: 2
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Difficulty Level: Easy

Ingredients:
1 cup of sugar, 150gms of chocolate, ½
cup of water

Preparation Instructions:

In a pan cook the sugar to caramel, add
the water, and allow it to boil to syrup,
add the chocolate and let boil till smooth
paste. Strain through a cloth or a strainer
and your chocolate syrup is ready to be
served with ice cream.
How to Clone Chilis
Molten Chocolate
Cake
Servings: 4
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:
1 pack of dark chocolate cake mix, Giant
muffin tin, 2 eggs, ½ cup water, 100 grams
butter, ½ teaspoon salt, 2 spoons hot fudge

Preparation Instructions:
Pour all the ingredients into a large bowl
and blend until combined and smooth.
Grease the giant muffin tin and place it in a
preheated 375 degree F. oven for 10-12
minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into
the center of one of the cake-muffins comes
out clean. Allow to cool before cutting the
top off of each cake-muffin with a knife. To
achieve the desired shape, cut a circle from
inside each cake-muffin and scoop out the
insides. Spoon hot fudge into the resulting
crater. Pop the cake-muffin into the freezer
for about 2 hours. Remove from the freezer
and microwave until just warm. Serve with
ice cream, if desired.
Chocolate Jelly
Recipe
Servings: 4
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Difficulty Level: Easy

Ingredients:
2 squares dark chocolate, 1 tablespoon
vegetable shortening, 2 cups boiling water,
3/4 cup white sugar, 4 tablespoons
cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon
vanilla extract, 1/2 cup chopped walnut
meats, 2 scoops fresh Whipped cream

Preparation Instructions:

Melt the chocolate with little water till it
dissolves evenly. Add vegetable
shortening, salt, and cornstarch mixed
with sugar. Stir and boil for about 8-10
minutes. Remove from heat and add
vanilla and chopped nuts. Pour at once
into wet mold. When cool, turn out and
serve with whipped cream.

Add chocolate pieces and melt, stirring constantly. Mix egg whites with sugar. Mix in flour. Pour mixture into prepared molds. Bake 3 to 4 minutes in a 350 degrees F oven.

(about 2/3 cup) chopped walnuts, 15 egg whites, 1.76 oz. dark chocolate, 0.7 oz. (about 1 ½ tablespoons) cream Preparation Instructions: Mix the egg yolk with sugar and molten butter. Add flour and chopped walnuts. Beat the egg whites and add them to the sugar mixture. Place the mixture in a buttered and floured sponge cake mold. Bake in a 338 degree F. oven for 40 minutes. Cool. Boil the cream. Add chocolate and simmer.

Place chopped walnuts on top and push them lightly into the chocolate. Let cool on the counter for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

Place them on a pudding dish and you are done.
