I am Arpit Jain, presently into my final year of study in Computer Science & Engineering, IIT Kanpur,India. I am enrolled into Bachelors - Masters(Integrated programme) in Computer Science & Engineering. I come from an applications background, working on ambitious projects excites me. I am interested in the area of Information retrieval (particularly information retrieval techniques involving textual data), cloud infrastructure and applications over mobile and mobile crowdsourcing systems. The latter subject also encompasses my thesis study (jointly supervised by Dr. TV Prabhakar, IIT Kanpur & Dr. Florence Sedes at IRIT, France).
