  2. 2. You must have read in newspapers about students committing suicide. You must have observed how some of your friends are always in depression due to exam stress. And this depression is also like killing yourself. ( Chinta chita ke saman hai - Worrying is equivalent to dead body) Why do students commit suicide ? Their mind want peace. If you go in detail of every suicide, you will come to know that students actually want peace of mind. They know it very well that this act will not provide solution and make situation worst. Their mind just want to run away from mental stress despite knowing how their parent will feel. Why they don’t have peace of mind ? 1) Stupid comparisons N a) My cousin brother got admission in IIT & I am studying in private college. N b)My friend who studied in less reputed school, got better rank than me. How can I face him? An appeal to all the students. Please share this article as much as possible.
  3. 3. 2) Self guilt - I let my family down” ,” I could have done much better” , “ I wasted lot of time in gossiping”. 3)Loose talk Loose talk by students, parents & relatives without knowing how they are killing someone’s aspiration & confidence. N a) “ In our college , there is no good faculty, facility & placement. I can’t do better in my life.” N b) “I send him to Kota , Sharmaji and spend 2 lakh rupees. That’s why he got rank above 2 lakh” Typical parent to their neighbor in presence of their child. 4) Myths - N a)If I do not get this particular college, my career would be finished. N b)I am in IIT, I am assured to have successful career. 5) Blaming on God - I am hardworking & sincere . I do not have any bad habit . But God did huge injustice to me by giving me less brain. How one can have peace of mind and take right action? þ 1) Avoid stupid comparisons - There is no limit to stupid comparisons and one has to focus on what he can does. Life will provide you endless opportunities and it is your choice to grab the right opportunity according to your aptitude & hard work or waste time & energy in useless
  4. 4. comparisons. To make it more clear, let’s have a look on some more stupid comparisons: And the list is endless. þ 2.)Self- guilt - You will definitely get other opportunities to make your parents proud. Just learn from your mistake and take appropriate actions. If you have wasted lot of time in gossiping , it is not because you are careless. You did it because you are lacking required skills to get success in exams. It would be better to build appropriate skills with help of book , teachers or internet. þ 3) Loose talk- Don’t let anyone including yourself & parent to do loose I am just a singer and I can’t act well. Actressess are getting more popularity than me. I should better commit suicide. I can’t sing like Lata Mangeshkar. My life is useless. I should better commit suicide. I got just 35 marks in maths whereas other are getting above 90 marks. I can not handle it anymore. I should b e t t e r c o m m i t suicide. Lata Mangeshkar Shakuntla Devi Sachin Tendulkar What if they also did meaningless comparisons?
  5. 5. talk. Just tell them - “ You can slap me as hard as possible but I won’t allow you to kill me like that. “ þ 4) Myth - There are many myths which are spoiling student’s career. Remember , you have to build career yourself. A good college or branch can only help you , but it is you who has to take right actions. What If these persons too believed in myths . According to my teachers, I am too stupid to learn anything . I should better kill myself. All film producers has rejected me as they think I am too long & not fair like other actors. I am thinking of ending my life . Mr. Einstein , you can surely go for suicide , but before that , please let me know who will tell us - E = 2 mc . Mr Bachan , you should definitely go for it but please let us know who will do the role of Jay in Sholay. WhatIfsomeonewhoknowsthefutureaskedsimilarquestions, justbeforesomeone'ssuicideattempt?
  6. 6. þ 5) Blaming on God - God has given you infinite power . Your age is not just 15- 25 years , in reality it is more than thousands of years. You are part of human race and you have responsibility to make it better. If you are relating your IQ with marks, then I advise you to consult a neurosurgeon and you will be surprised to know that exam is just like small insect in front of your mammoth brain power. Getting success in exam is all about your EQ ( emotional quotient) and skills.
