Round Annapurna Trekking, as the name suggests is a trekking trail which takes trekkers around all the major attractions of the Annapurna Region. Also known as the Annapurna Circuit trek, this trial is a very popular one, opted by trekkers with an interest to observe not only the scenic beauty, but also the lifestyle of people living in the Annapurna region. The deepest gorge in the world, the Kali Gandaki, the viewpoint of Poon Hill, Muktinath; the pilgrim site for Buddhists and Hindus, Thorong La Pass etc are the major attractions of this must do trek. Various routes are being adapted to trek around the Annapurna region due to construction works being carried out in the main route. The new, improved trial commences from Jomsom and passes through Dona Lake, Marpha, Larjung Titi and then to Taklung. From here, the trail moves further into Kunjo and Ghasa. Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (D):
Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, you can apply Nepali visa if you don’t have one yet. You
need to complete visa application form and provide a passport size Photograph. Visa fee
costs US$ 40 for 30 days multiple valid visa. Collect your baggage, walk through the
customs and meet your Nepali Guide and driver outside. From the airport, your hotel is
about 30 minutes drive into the city. You check in your hotel and after wash and change, we
set out to explore the wonders of the city. In the evening your guide will invite you
welcome dinner at an excellent traditional Nepalese restaurant, where you will enjoy a
Nepalese culture dance program. Over night at 3star hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu City Tour (B):
Today we explore Katmandu on an organized sightseeing tour. This will include a visit to
the Bodhnath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world. We also visit
Pashupatinath, located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River and home to the most
famous Hindu temple in the country. Here we will see Hindu holy men (saddhus) and
pilgrims performing ritual bathing, and occasionally, funeral pyres burning on the Ghats.
The early afternoon will be free to relax in the hotel garden or visit Thamel for last minute
shopping. You will be supplied with your trek departure information in the Evening.
Overnight in Hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Bulbule VIA Besishar (B,L,D)
After breakfast your guide will come to meet you at your hotel and scenic drive to Besishar
about 6-7 hours and from Besishar drive to Bulbule. Overnight Bulbule at Guest House
Day 04: Trek to Jaget (1311m) 6-7 Hours (B,L,D)
After breakfast you will walk through many different villages with different culture. This
day you will meet every different village different people like some village you will meet
Brahman and Chhetri, some village Gurung and Magar, always walking thorough
Marsyangdi River.
Day 05: Trek to Dharapani (1960m) 7 Hours (B,L,D)
A wonderful walk with such change in scenery and a range of gradients is begins today. The
trail climbs up the east bank of the Marsyandi river, pass high majestic waterfall
surrounded by the screw pine trees and trail continue through the gorge nearby river, the
zigzag path from Taal (1700m) goes up to the hill, scenery of reveral waterfall dropping
closes to plain settlement Taal. You cross a suspension bridge and climb the short distance
to the stone marking the entrance to Dharapani. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 06: Trek to Chame (2175m) 6 Hours (B,L,D)
After breakfast trek through the Tibetan and Gurung settlement at Bagarchhap, great views
of Mt. Annapurna II and Mt. Lamjung Himal. After 30 minutes walk from Bagarchhap, you
will reach at Danakyou, from here if you look behind the lofty peaks of Mt. Manaslu, the
eight highest peaks in the world could be visible on clear day. Continuing trek on a flattish
path and a river late the village of Thanchok. The Nar Khola(River) from the recently
opened valleys of Nar and Phu join the Marshandi from the your right side. After short
walk you will reach Chame, the district headquarters of Manang. Overnight at Guest House
Day 07: Trek to Pisang (3310m) 5 Hours (B,L,D)
After breakfast, the journey continuous toward Pisang, on the way you can see beautiful
view of Lamjung Himal and apple orchard. The trail lead you along then bank of Marshandi
river climb up through pine forest to the Teleku village and continuous trek to Bharatang a
apple orchard garden. After Bharatang you will cross back to the south bank of Marshandi
river till the Pisang. Overnight at Guest House
Day 08: Trek to Manag (3540m) 4 hours (B,L,D)
After breakfast the trail through Manang valley. It goes a dogleg through the charming
village, passing with scenic view of painted Mandalas and dragon mouths spouts. The route
future leads to the Hondge village, where is only one airport on Manang area. From Hungde
you can see majestic mountain views of Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV,
Gangapurna and Tilicho peak. You leave the village from near mani wall and finally you will
descend back to village floor and rejoin the main trail to continues to Braga village and
Manang. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 09: Rest Day in Manang (Acclimatization day) (B,L,D)
Today is your acclimatization day in Manang, which is a necessary to you for your next two
days trekking. At the Manang you will explore around the Manang village or you will hike
Gangapurna lake, Monasteries and more. Overnight at guest house
Day 10: Trek to Letder (4200m) 4-5 hours (B,L,D)
After breakfast, the trails begins to ascend a stream climbs Jarsang Khola, offering
panorama Himalaya scenery view through meadow where yaks and horses graze. The trail
passes an ancient mani wall in meadow at 3990m and then reaches small village Yak
kharka to crossing a suspension bridge to Leadar. Overnight at guest house
Day 11: Trek to Thorong Phedi (4450m) 3-4 hours (B,L,D)
Leaving Letder, you will relatively easy to get used to the altitude before you have to cross
the highest pass in the trek, continues walk through Marshandi river, a rock –strewn
neadow surrounded by upright cliffs at 4420m
Day 12: Trek to Muktinath (3800m) VIA Thoroung-La pass (5416m) (B,L,D)
Today is your one of the hardest and on memorable day on your life. Today you will start
early in the morning for crossing of Thorong-La(5416m). The trail becomes steep up to
Thorong-La pass, there is one and only one tea shop where you can have hot tea, coffee or
chocolate with some beautiful mountains views. After few rest at Thorong-La you will
descend to ward Muktinath.
Muktinath is the one of the famous holy place in India and Nepal . Muktinath means place of
Nirvana, it said that all sorrows you are feel relieved when visiting the Muktinath Temple,
which is scared pilgrimage site for both Hindu and Buddhist. The temple is dedicated to
lord Vishnu and has 108 water spouts around it from which holy water pour. Overnight at
Guest House
Day 13: Trek to Marpha (2660m) 6 hours (B,L,D)
Today your Annapurna circuit trek heads downhill through the ruggedness of a barren
valley of wind-eroded rock and continues downhill to Jharkot and Khingar village, the
typical Tibetan village and then continue descends down until Eklai Bhatti. From here you
will have magnificent view of Mt. Nilgiri and then follow Kaligandaki river till Jomsom.
Jomsom is the administration center of Mustang district with small airstrip just above the
Kaligandaki River. Here you can have lunch, after lunch 2 more hours to Marpha. Marpha is
an old village with a lot of traditional village and you can see people here Thakali and
Tibetan. Overnight at Guest House
Day 14: Trek to Ghasa(2020m) 6 hours (B,L,D)
After breakfast again you continues walk through Kaligandaki river, which is enjoyable,
after an hour walking you will reaches another charming village at Tukuche village, close
beneath the Tukuche peak and Mt. Dhaulagiri with spectacular view of Mt. Nilgiri. Again
continue walk through Kaligandaki river bank, crossing many Thakali village, narrow
alleyways and tunnels houses with enclosed courtyards. Overnight at guest house
Day 15: Trek to Tatopani (1190m) 6 hours (B,L,D)
Today your trail passes through the last Thakali village observing local people and their
distinct life style. From Ghasa the southern end of the area dominated by Thakali people till
Tatopani. On arrival at Tatopani you are likely to relax your wear muscles flowing yourself
in hot spring. Overnight at Guest House
Day 16: Trek to Ghorepani(2850m) 7 Hours (B,L,D)
From Tatopani you again cross Kaligandaki River and then climb to Shikha village, a large
magar village. Beyond the palate you will meet moss-covered rhododendron forest with
rich birding life. From Ghorepani you will have the greet panorama mountain views of
Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountains range. Overnight at Guest House
Day 17: Trek to Tadapani (2710m) 5 hours (B,L,D)
Early morning your guide will knock your room for hike up to Poon hill to catch the
moment of spectacular sunrise over the whole Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range.
After sunrise view back to guest house for breakfast. Then continues up and down of the
trails to Tadapani through rhododendronforest. Overnight at Guest house
Day 18: Trek to Ghandruk (2050m) 4 hours (B,L,D)
Today we pass the Tadapani village down walk to the rich rhododendron forest and about
an hour fully forest walking reaches at Bhaise Kharka where few teahouses for tea coffee
and for lunch again downhill to the Ghandruk village. After few hours walk through the
forested way. Finally largest Gurung (popular ethnic group from western region of Nepal)
settlement in the area with the closest views of Annapurna and Machhapuchre to the north
and evening enjoy exploring the local village and people with traditional dressed.
Overnight at Guest House
Day 19: Trek to pokhara(900m) (B,L)
After your teahouse breakfast you will be walking completely steep downhill along trails
through the forest for about 3 hours where en-route some small teahouses offering tea o
cold drink for small breaks. Continue walking to reach Birethati. After half hour walk to
arrive Nayapool catch car to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel
Day 20: Pokhara to Kathmandu (B)
Early morning, transfer to pokhara tourist bus station for driving back to Kathmandu and it
takes around 6 hours; check in Hotel in Kathmandu, overnight stay at hotel.
Day 21: Departure (B)
This is our last day in Nepal. It can be devoted to recreation, As well as the most important
thing - the day you can buy presents for their relatives, colleagues and friends), the final
evening gala dinner and going home. Late in the evening flight home.

Round Annapurna Trekking

  • 1. Round Annapurna Trekking 20 Nights/21 Days Round Annapurna Trekking, as the name suggests is a trekking trail which takes trekkers around all the major attractions of the Annapurna Region. Also known as the Annapurna Circuit trek, this trial is a very popular one, opted by trekkers with an interest to observe not only the scenic beauty, but also the lifestyle of people living in the Annapurna region. The deepest gorge in the world, the Kali Gandaki, the viewpoint of Poon Hill, Muktinath; the pilgrim site for Buddhists and Hindus, Thorong La Pass etc are the major attractions of this must do trek. Various routes are being adapted to trek around the Annapurna region due to construction works being carried out in the main route. The new, improved trial commences from Jomsom and passes through Dona Lake, Marpha, Larjung Titi and then to Taklung. From here, the trail moves further into Kunjo and Ghasa. Due to the limitation of lodging facilities, the old trial is still extensively used despit the construction works. The old trekking route commences from Marsyangdi River Valley. From here treks are done into Besisahar, Manang and upwards to the Thorong La Pass at an altitude of 5416 m. Thorong La Pass is a perfect viewpoint for observing 360 degree view of various mountain ranges including Machapuchhre, Hiunchuli, Lamjung, Tukuche, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu, Nilgiri and Tilicho. Proper acclimatization is necessary before ascending up the Thorong La Pass to avoid any altitude sickness issues. Muktinath and Braga, the pilgrimage sites both for Hindus and Buddhists, is another major attraction. Trekkers can even walk along the deepest gorge in the world, formed by the cut between the Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri. Further up lays Jomsom from where the trail comes to an end in Kagbeni. With many trials to choose form, the Round Annapurna Trekking trial never ceases to amaze trekkers with the mystical topography of the Kali Gandaki Valley. With the support and hospitality of the ethnic inhabitants of the region, the Round Annapurna Trek can be completed with less trouble and full satisfaction. Spring season is best suited for embarking in this adventure. Itinerary Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (D): Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, you can apply Nepali visa if you don’t have one yet. You need to complete visa application form and provide a passport size Photograph. Visa fee costs US$ 40 for 30 days multiple valid visa. Collect your baggage, walk through the customs and meet your Nepali Guide and driver outside. From the airport, your hotel is about 30 minutes drive into the city. You check in your hotel and after wash and change, we set out to explore the wonders of the city. In the evening your guide will invite you welcome dinner at an excellent traditional Nepalese restaurant, where you will enjoy a Nepalese culture dance program. Over night at 3star hotel.
  • 2. Day 02: Kathmandu City Tour (B): Today we explore Katmandu on an organized sightseeing tour. This will include a visit to the Bodhnath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world. We also visit Pashupatinath, located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River and home to the most famous Hindu temple in the country. Here we will see Hindu holy men (saddhus) and pilgrims performing ritual bathing, and occasionally, funeral pyres burning on the Ghats. The early afternoon will be free to relax in the hotel garden or visit Thamel for last minute shopping. You will be supplied with your trek departure information in the Evening. Overnight in Hotel. Day 03: Drive to Bulbule VIA Besishar (B,L,D) After breakfast your guide will come to meet you at your hotel and scenic drive to Besishar about 6-7 hours and from Besishar drive to Bulbule. Overnight Bulbule at Guest House Day 04: Trek to Jaget (1311m) 6-7 Hours (B,L,D) After breakfast you will walk through many different villages with different culture. This day you will meet every different village different people like some village you will meet Brahman and Chhetri, some village Gurung and Magar, always walking thorough Marsyangdi River. Day 05: Trek to Dharapani (1960m) 7 Hours (B,L,D) A wonderful walk with such change in scenery and a range of gradients is begins today. The trail climbs up the east bank of the Marsyandi river, pass high majestic waterfall surrounded by the screw pine trees and trail continue through the gorge nearby river, the zigzag path from Taal (1700m) goes up to the hill, scenery of reveral waterfall dropping closes to plain settlement Taal. You cross a suspension bridge and climb the short distance to the stone marking the entrance to Dharapani. Overnight at Guesthouse. Day 06: Trek to Chame (2175m) 6 Hours (B,L,D) After breakfast trek through the Tibetan and Gurung settlement at Bagarchhap, great views of Mt. Annapurna II and Mt. Lamjung Himal. After 30 minutes walk from Bagarchhap, you will reach at Danakyou, from here if you look behind the lofty peaks of Mt. Manaslu, the eight highest peaks in the world could be visible on clear day. Continuing trek on a flattish path and a river late the village of Thanchok. The Nar Khola(River) from the recently opened valleys of Nar and Phu join the Marshandi from the your right side. After short walk you will reach Chame, the district headquarters of Manang. Overnight at Guest House Day 07: Trek to Pisang (3310m) 5 Hours (B,L,D) After breakfast, the journey continuous toward Pisang, on the way you can see beautiful view of Lamjung Himal and apple orchard. The trail lead you along then bank of Marshandi river climb up through pine forest to the Teleku village and continuous trek to Bharatang a apple orchard garden. After Bharatang you will cross back to the south bank of Marshandi river till the Pisang. Overnight at Guest House
  • 3. Day 08: Trek to Manag (3540m) 4 hours (B,L,D) After breakfast the trail through Manang valley. It goes a dogleg through the charming village, passing with scenic view of painted Mandalas and dragon mouths spouts. The route future leads to the Hondge village, where is only one airport on Manang area. From Hungde you can see majestic mountain views of Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Gangapurna and Tilicho peak. You leave the village from near mani wall and finally you will descend back to village floor and rejoin the main trail to continues to Braga village and Manang. Overnight at Guest House. Day 09: Rest Day in Manang (Acclimatization day) (B,L,D) Today is your acclimatization day in Manang, which is a necessary to you for your next two days trekking. At the Manang you will explore around the Manang village or you will hike Gangapurna lake, Monasteries and more. Overnight at guest house Day 10: Trek to Letder (4200m) 4-5 hours (B,L,D) After breakfast, the trails begins to ascend a stream climbs Jarsang Khola, offering panorama Himalaya scenery view through meadow where yaks and horses graze. The trail passes an ancient mani wall in meadow at 3990m and then reaches small village Yak kharka to crossing a suspension bridge to Leadar. Overnight at guest house Day 11: Trek to Thorong Phedi (4450m) 3-4 hours (B,L,D) Leaving Letder, you will relatively easy to get used to the altitude before you have to cross the highest pass in the trek, continues walk through Marshandi river, a rock –strewn neadow surrounded by upright cliffs at 4420m Day 12: Trek to Muktinath (3800m) VIA Thoroung-La pass (5416m) (B,L,D) Today is your one of the hardest and on memorable day on your life. Today you will start early in the morning for crossing of Thorong-La(5416m). The trail becomes steep up to Thorong-La pass, there is one and only one tea shop where you can have hot tea, coffee or chocolate with some beautiful mountains views. After few rest at Thorong-La you will descend to ward Muktinath. Muktinath is the one of the famous holy place in India and Nepal . Muktinath means place of Nirvana, it said that all sorrows you are feel relieved when visiting the Muktinath Temple, which is scared pilgrimage site for both Hindu and Buddhist. The temple is dedicated to lord Vishnu and has 108 water spouts around it from which holy water pour. Overnight at Guest House Day 13: Trek to Marpha (2660m) 6 hours (B,L,D) Today your Annapurna circuit trek heads downhill through the ruggedness of a barren valley of wind-eroded rock and continues downhill to Jharkot and Khingar village, the typical Tibetan village and then continue descends down until Eklai Bhatti. From here you will have magnificent view of Mt. Nilgiri and then follow Kaligandaki river till Jomsom. Jomsom is the administration center of Mustang district with small airstrip just above the Kaligandaki River. Here you can have lunch, after lunch 2 more hours to Marpha. Marpha is

Overnight at Guest House Day 14: Trek to Ghasa(2020m) 6 hours (B,L,D) After breakfast again you continues walk through Kaligandaki river, which is enjoyable, after an hour walking you will reaches another charming village at Tukuche village, close beneath the Tukuche peak and Mt. Dhaulagiri with spectacular view of Mt. Nilgiri. Again continue walk through Kaligandaki river bank, crossing many Thakali village, narrow alleyways and tunnels houses with enclosed courtyards. Overnight at guest house Day 15: Trek to Tatopani (1190m) 6 hours (B,L,D) Today your trail passes through the last Thakali village observing local people and their distinct life style. From Ghasa the southern end of the area dominated by Thakali people till Tatopani. On arrival at Tatopani you are likely to relax your wear muscles flowing yourself in hot spring. Overnight at Guest House Day 16: Trek to Ghorepani(2850m) 7 Hours (B,L,D) From Tatopani you again cross Kaligandaki River and then climb to Shikha village, a large magar village. Beyond the palate you will meet moss-covered rhododendron forest with rich birding life. From Ghorepani you will have the greet panorama mountain views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountains range. Overnight at Guest House Day 17: Trek to Tadapani (2710m) 5 hours (B,L,D) Early morning your guide will knock your room for hike up to Poon hill to catch the moment of spectacular sunrise over the whole Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range. After sunrise view back to guest house for breakfast. Then continues up and down of the trails to Tadapani through rhododendronforest. Overnight at Guest house Day 18: Trek to Ghandruk (2050m) 4 hours (B,L,D) Today we pass the Tadapani village down walk to the rich rhododendron forest and about an hour fully forest walking reaches at Bhaise Kharka where few teahouses for tea coffee and for lunch again downhill to the Ghandruk village. After few hours walk through the forested way. Finally largest Gurung (popular ethnic group from western region of Nepal) settlement in the area with the closest views of Annapurna and Machhapuchre to the north and evening enjoy exploring the local village and people with traditional dressed. Overnight at Guest House Day 19: Trek to pokhara(900m) (B,L) After your teahouse breakfast you will be walking completely steep downhill along trails through the forest for about 3 hours where en-route some small teahouses offering tea o cold drink for small breaks. Continue walking to reach Birethati. After half hour walk to arrive Nayapool catch car to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel Day 20: Pokhara to Kathmandu (B) Early morning, transfer to pokhara tourist bus station for driving back to Kathmandu and it takes around 6 hours; check in Hotel in Kathmandu, overnight stay at hotel.
  • 5. Day 21: Departure (B) This is our last day in Nepal.
