3. OUR BACKGROUND
In 1979, the company known as NADAL FORWARDING, S.L. started
business as a Customs Agent, specialising in deep sea import/ export,
with the addition of international road transport and airfreight
departments.
In 1990, warehouses and offices were built in El Prat de Llobregat
centralising the companies activities. In the same year the first branch
office was opened in Valencia.
In 1997, NADAL FORWARDING, S.L. was awarded the ISO 9000
Certification by AENOR and since then its quality control processes
have been continually renewed.
The company has won the following awards:
• In 2000, Best National Logistics Company.
• In 2001, Port of Barcelona Medal.
• In 2007, The Barcelona Port Community Silver Lingot.
• In 2010, AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) Certification.

11. CUSTOMS AGENTS
• Customs Agents since 1979
• The first Customs Agent to sign the protocol permitting Customs clearance by
computer link
• Two registered Customs Agents in our organisation and NADAL FORWARDING,
S.L. is also authorised to do clearance
• Permanent computer link to Customs via internet. Computer connection directly to
Customs and Special Duties department, authorised clearance from our own
offices.
• Public bonded warehouses D.A.P. and temporary bonded free zones, authorised
sender and receiver, all computer linked to the A.E.A.T.
• Preparation and presentation of appeals to the Customs, Supreme Court and the
Constitutional Court (TEAR)
• Advisor on foreign trade, obtaining of import licences and other documents from
Regional and Central Governments and assistance with
Tax Inspections in the company
• Intrastat.

12. SERVICE IN COMPANY
• Integrated into the logistics chain, we offer:
• Personalised interface communication.
• In exports:
– We work from the moment we recieve the sales order confirmation.
– We prepare all your documents and coordinate all the procedures until delivery
has finished
– We look after the handing over of documents to the bank and/or destination and
information to the client or representative
– We coordinate the necessary inspections adapting ourselves to the peculiarities
of your merchandise.
– We specialise in dealing with Restitutions with the Spanish Agricultural
Guarantee Fund from the Ministry of Agriculture.
• In imports:
– We work from the moment you start the purchasing order
– We contact your suppliers and do a follow up of your shipment from origin to
final destination
– We deal with the opening of letters of credit from the pro-forma invoice
