you to write both the fraction and the
decimal on your paper.

Fractions to Decimals

Step 1: Put the numerator inside the
division sign. Put the denominator
outside the division sign.
Step 2: Put a decimal point and 3
zeroes next to the numerator. Put
the decimal point in the answer right
above the decimal in the problem.
Step 3: Divide as far as 3 decimal
places (or as many as the problem
asks you to go to).
