QR Code
A QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response code) is a specific
matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code) that is readable by
dedicated QR barcode readers and camera telephones. The code
consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white
background. The information encoded may be text, URL, or other
data.

To scan or read a QR code you would need a Smartphone which is having QR
reader installed or a smart phone where you can install the QR reader.

It takes approximately 2-3 minutes to download and install the reader
depending upon your mobile connection where it is GPRS or on 3G network.

To read a QR code:
Step 1: You will need to activate the QR code reader software installed on
your phone. This will open your Smartphone camera.
Step 2: Point in the direction of the QR code to correctly capture it to scan the
code. i.e. click a picture of the barcode in some case it will automatically
detect and take you the next steps.
Step 3: The reader quickly scans the code and displays the embedded
information in the code.
Step 4: If the code contains an URL, the reader will prompt to click the URL
and visit the page containing the related information. If it contains the contact
details then it will prompt you to save the contacts in your phone book and
much more.
