BASF is launching Ultramid® Advanced N, a new long-chain polyphthalamide portfolio material, to address customer needs for high-performance materials in automotive, electronics, and consumer industries. Ultramid® Advanced N offers stable mechanical properties at elevated temperatures, excellent dimensional stability, and outstanding chemical resistance for longer performance compared to standard polyphthalamides. It provides broad application possibilities as it is available in unreinforced, glass fiber reinforced, and halogen-free flame retardant grades.
