The Bangladesh Network Operators Group (bdNOG) is a non-profit organization that aims to encourage knowledge sharing and operational research among Internet engineers in Bangladesh. It organizes biannual technical conferences to facilitate discussion of local Internet issues. The first bdNOG conference in 2014 included workshops on topics like BGP routing, network security, and virtualization, and attracted over 90 participants from Bangladeshi organizations that operate computer networks. BdNog also maintains a mailing list to further discuss technical issues and aims to connect the local Internet community with global technology developments.
