Federation University 2015 Semester 2 has concluded and I am pleased that all have passed "my"course (but for two who have been granted deferred exams). It was great to meet some MRE graduates/current students at the conferences at which I presented papers: Perth and Sydney. . Following 28 years in power generation, I joined Monash University at its Gippsland Campus in 1992 part-time to rewrite its postgraduate course on condition monitoring. Teaching and research increased me to 100% tenured from 1999.
