This is a presentation of the building of two authentic replicas of a hockey gane first patented in 1936 and now available to build form plans sold by Lee Valley.
3. Some Background .... In 1936, a fellow in Toronto patented his original version of a table top hockey game. He built them in his basement, using wood as the prime material. In the early 40’s, the game was sold through the Eaton's Catalogue for the grand sum of $4.95. Today, any remaining games are truly antiques. The games I built, with the help of plans from Lee Valley, are true replicas of the originals. I built two games, to be shared by our four grandsons and their Dads.
