Xtra Sharp and ADHD Testimonial

In January of 2002 we moved from Grand Rapids to Fruitport. I left my full-time job in
retail and our 9 and 12 year old boys left Calvin Christian Elementary school. They
started at Fruitport Public Schools at the end of January. Two weeks after they started at
Fruitport, one of Jay’s teachers called to tell me he was having a hard time concentrating
on his work and not finishing his assignments. He only had 1 out of 9 assignments turned
in.

Jay is 12 and was diagnosed with ADHD at age 5. We have tried many avenues to help
him with this condition, and never give up trying. The teachers and I kept in touch every
couple of days for the next 5-6 weeks. We thought with constant communication that we
could keep on top of the situation, but Jay was still having a hard time staying on task.
His Science grade was now a 42% F. I needed to do something now!

I had just started taking the Xtra Sharp product myself and was extremely happy with the
results. I could focus on the task at hand and not get off track doing other things. I
thought if it worked for me, why not try it with Jay. So I started giving him just a half-
tablespoon along with his usual medication and saw instant results.

The teachers all told me he was doing great within the first week. One said “I don’t have
any problems with Jay anymore.” Another said, “Whatever you are doing, keep it up!”
The Science teacher also noticed a difference, but wasn’t too quick to praise him. (I think
she was a little skeptical at first.) Her and I watched as he raised his grade up to a D and
then to a C 4 weeks later. The last week of school Jay called me from class and was
proud to announce that he was now getting an A in Science class. The teacher said he
was so excited he just had to call me, and we both were very proud of him.

Both of my children are now on the Xtra Sharp before school and before sports on the
weekends. They are now at the point that they will remind me to give it to them, even
though they aren’t thrilled about the taste. That was quite the battle at first, but I know
they can tell the difference in how it makes them feel, and they are able to concentrate on
their work. It sure cuts down on the amount of homework they both have, and that makes
us all happy!
