The document discusses quality in education in Bulgaria. It describes how Confucius created the first system of public examinations and how Thomas Mann established the first student knowledge questionnaires in 1845. Quality of education is measured at school, regional, national, and international levels using social, economic, and educational metrics. Diagnostics are conducted through data analysis, target setting, and improvement measures. National evaluations are performed after 4th, 7th, and 12th grades using standardized and teacher assessments. Efforts are made to improve the educational environment through balanced assessment methods, non-traditional teaching, evaluation, innovation, and efficiency. The vision is for alignment with global education projects and individual/societal needs.
