1. Squats With Side Leg Lift 
Begin this exercise by standing with your feet 
hip-width apart. Your hands can be crossed over 
your chest, or held together at your waist. 
Squat down by bending at the knees, inhaling 
and keeping your weight back on your heels - 
don't rise up on your toes. Then, exhale as you 
begin your return to a standing position while 
simultaneously lifting your right leg out to the 
side, keeping your foot flexed. Return to the 
squat position, bringing your right leg back in to 
the center. Repeat the move, this time raising 
your left leg - this will complete one repetition. 
Perform 3 sets of 12-15 reps.

2. Dumbbell Sumo Squats 
Start by standing with your feet spread wide and your 
toes turned out to a 45-degree angle. Hold a 
dumbbell or kettlebell with both hands in front of you, 
letting it hang down past your waist. 
Lower your hips by bending at the knees, until your 
thighs are parallel to the ground. Hold the position for 
a second, then raise yourself back up to your original 
standing position. Keep your back and neck in 
alignment throughout each repetition. 
Perform 3 sets of 12-15 reps.

3. Donkey Kicks 
This exercise begins in a quadruped 
position - on your hands and knees. 
Your hands should be aligned directly 
under the shoulders, palms flat, while 
your knees should be under the hips. 
Lift your right leg up and behind you, 
keeping the knee bent in that 90- 
degree angle; You should lift until the 
knee is at hip level. 
Return your right leg to the starting position, but without touching your knee to the 
floor - this will be one repetition. Do 15 reps with your right leg, then do 15 with 
the left leg to finish a complete set. 
Do 3 sets of this exercise.

4. Reverse Lunge With Front Kick 
No equipment is needed for this exercise. Start by 
standing straight and relaxed. 
Take a large step backward with your right leg, then 
lower your hips until your left thigh is parallel to the 
ground and the right knee is almost touching the 
ground. Your weight should be on your left heel. 
Squeeze with the glutes as you push down with that 
left heel to begin standing; bring the right leg forward 
and do a controlled kick to the front as your left leg 
straightens to a standing position. That is your first 
repetition. 
Do 12-15 reps with one side, then again with the 
other leg to complete a set. 
Do 3 sets total.

5. Alternating Split Jumps 
Begin this exercise by standing with your left foot in 
front of your body, and the right foot slightly behind. 
Keep your back and neck aligned while bending your 
legs and lowering yourself into a lunge, until your left 
thigh is parallel to the ground. 
From this position, jump up into the air with both feet. 
In the air, change positions of your feet, so that you land 
with the right leg now in front, and return down into a 
lunge position. Repeat bring the left leg back to the front 
to complete one rep. 
Perform 3 sets of 12-15 reps.

6. Hip Bridge 
Begin this exercise in a sit-up position: 
lying on your back with your knees bent, 
heels on the floor and hands by your 
side, palms down. 
Lift your hips up off the floor, until your 
back is aligned from shoulders to knees; 
hold that position for one second before 
returning to the original position. 
Perform 3 sets of 12-15 reps.
