El rector de @la_UPM inaugura el 06/11/2012 la exposición
La ingeniería española y el Canal de Suez, dedicada a la
que fue la obra pública más importante del siglo XIX.
La transcendencia histórica que supuso la apertura de esta
vía de comunicación entre el Mediterráneo y el mar Rojo
es comparable a las formidables dificultades técnicas que
exigió su construcción, a las que se unieron escollos
políticos y económicos.
La exposición, que podrá visitarse en el Rectorado A de
@la_UPM hasta el 10/12/2012, reseña la relación de
España con el Canal, cuya inauguración en 1869 despertó
un gran interés en nuestro país.
3. #ExpoSuezUPM
La exposición la ingeniería española y el Canal de Suez,
ha sido realizada por los medios técnicos y humanos
de Biblioteca UPM, aprovechando el extraordinario
fondo histórico y documental que atesoran las
distintas bibliotecas que la conforman.
Ofrecemos a continuación algunos de los materiales
