This document provides an overview of the SAMBRO work flow system for managing emergency alerts and common operating pictures (COPs). It describes the key components of SAMBRO including creating CAP templates and messages, authorizing and approving messages, verifying messages in the COP, and creating subscriptions for email/SMS notifications. The goal of SAMBRO is to support preparedness, warning, search and rescue, and relief efforts through multi-agency situational awareness and alert management.

5● Access Permissions – permission to Create, Read, Update, Delete, Publish,
Approve, Review the database table.
● Users Roles in SAMBRO:
○ Anonymous – Not Registered, Public Users
○ Authenticated – Registered users
○ Map Admin – GIS/MAP Administrator
○ Alert Editor - Alert Message Editor
○ Alert Approver – Approver + Alert Editor
○ Admin - System Administrator / CAP Implementer
● Permissions are granted to roles.
● User gets permissions by assigning roles to them.
