PROBLEM
At the end of runway 15/33, an area of 1.5
acres was constantly saturated with water.
Since 1999, It was chronically wet, saturated
and it was only possible to mow the grass a
few times during the year in late summer. Also
It was impossible to install essential
underground cable.
SOLUTION
On February 26, 2012, Parjana
Distribution installed the EGRP® on this
initial test site. By May 12, 2012 (10 weeks
later) the EGRP® started to activate.
By the end of May, there was no
longer visible standing water.
RESULTS
Since May 2012, no water has accumulat-­
ed, consequently birds no longer come into
this zone, diminishing the possibility of a bird
reduced the presence of wildlife, which pose
a threat to airplanes as they takeoff and land
