A couple of years ago, we created ‘Braveheartz’ to make travel experience
more personal, fun and beautiful. The journey started with an idea and
culminated in being recognized as the most promising company which
primarily operates on ideated travel solutions and that too very
personalized. It has been a crazy few years since then. In 2010, Braveheartz
got affiliated to ‘National Adventure Foundation’ a non-commercial, socially
oriented, philanthropic, non-governmental organization (NGO), committed
to the promotion of adventure activities and sports among the youth of the
country. ‘Braveheartz sole aim is to organize an exposure to adventure for
anyone of any age, gender or vocation so that millions of travelers around
the world could find the same travel inspiration and recommendations
that ‘Braveheartz’ fans have already enjoyed. In a complex world of
business travel management, you need a partner with a keen understanding
of your rapidly evolving travel requirements Braveheartz somehow believed
in the same vision and is proud to work for the cause.

Himalayas is a unique destination. It exposes travelers to the untouched, raw
beauty of mountains and high deserts. Whether you want to spend a few days
in the capital of Lhasa or spend two weeks touring monasteries, it is worth a

years, Tibet as developed a unique, spiritual and peaceful culture with
Buddhism at its heart. Many people’s lives are dedicated to Tibetan Buddhism,
which features elaborate rituals and advanced philosophical discussion. The
belief in reincarnation and the role of Lamas are also fundamental aspects of
this school of Buddhism. Barkhor Street is the famous commercial center of
the highland. Over 120 handicraft and artwork stores and 200 or so market
stands in the Barkhor Street, it is a must-go place for all souvenir shopping.

The Classic Tibet tour begins in iconic Lhasa city, located in the
center of the Tibetan Plateau in a valley of the Kyi River, a tributary of the Yarlang
Zangbo (Brahmaputra). Lhasa is the center of Tibetan commercial and spiritual life,
luring merchants and pilgrims from all over Asia to participate in trade or religious
festivals. The most important cultural sites in Lhasa are the Potala Palace, Jokhang
Temple, the Barkhor market, and the monasteries of Sera and Drepung. Potala
dominates the Lhasa skyline from every corner. Originally there were buildings from
640 AD but the present Potala palace was built in 17th century by the fifth Dalai
Lama. About 8 km to the west of central Lhasa, Drepung was once Tibet's largest
monastery, with a population of around 10,000 monks. Built in1416 this is one of the
important Gelukpa monasteries. It houses different colleges for the study of Buddhist
philosophy and the interesting sight is to see is the debating monks. Though not as big
as Drepung, it is another big and important Gelukpa monastery in Lhasa which has
served as “university monastery “. It is about 5 km north of central Lhasa. About 2 km
east of Potala and built in 647 AD, Jokhang is the holiest and the most active of the
Buddhist temples in Tibet. Jokhang was built by the greatest of the Tibetan King,
Shrong Tsong Gompo, to house the Buddha image brought from Nepal by his Nepalese
wife Bhrikuti . Barkhor Street is the famous commercial center of the highland. Over
120 handicraft and artwork stores and 200 or so market stands in the Barkhor Street: it
is a must-go place for all souvenir shopping. Yamdrok Lake is a fresh water lake in
Tibet. It is one of the three largest sacred lakes in Tibet. It is over 72 km long. Shalu
Monastery or Ṣalu Monastery is small monastery 22 km south of Shigatse in Tibet.
Prayer flags flutter on wind-swept
passes, jagged snow-capped Himalayan peaks touch cobalt skies, plains of
green barley and yellow canola shoulder treeless brown slopes and mountain
monasteries echo the chants of monks. The sights and sounds of Tibet are
fantastic and, for many, magnetic. Gyantse is a town located in Gyantse
County, Shigatse Prefecture. It was historically considered the third largest
and most prominent town in the Tibet region, but there are now at least ten
larger Tibet ancities. The Barkor is a popular devotional circum abulation for
pilgrims and locals. The walk was about one kilometre long and encircled the
entire Jokhang, the former seat of the State Oracle in Lhasa called the Muru
Nyingba Monastery, and a number of nobles' houses including Tromzikhang
and Jamkhang. Lhasa has always remained the cultural, political and
economic centre of Tibet. It is the heart and soul of Tibet, the abode of the
Dalai Lamas and an object of devout pilgrimage. Tashil hunpo Monastery is
one of the largest functioning Buddhist monasteries in Tibet and there is
much to explore within its high surrounding walls. It contains the world's
largest brass statue of Maitreya Buddha, which is over 80 feet tall and has
extremely delicate features. Shalu Monastery or Ṣalu Monastery is small
monastery 22 km south of Shigatse in Tibet. Yamdrok Lake is a fresh water
lake in Tibet.
