12. Nature Based Learning Concept!
What is NLC ?
When they decided to raise "a Doğa
generation", they agreed that the best way to
provide the finest education for the students
was to involve nature.
With the thought that the best method is
"learning through experience", we apply an
educational method named"Nature Based Learning
Concept" NLC model approaches every student as
having their own way of learning that works best
for them. The curriculum has an innovative and
progressive structure, not stable.
13. NATURAL LEARNING CONCEPT
(DOĞA KONSEPTLİ EĞİTİM MODELİ)
NLC enables educational systems more dynamic
& innovative structure.
Students can …
learn out of the traditional classrooms through
opening the doors to a NATURE.
adopt continuous development as a principle on
environmental issues.
The aim is to create “environmental voluntarist”
14. Ecology Courses that are applied in Doğa Schools also
enhance the awareness of nature.
Ecological production not only
requires receiving the crop while working on the soilbut also the
richness of the soil takes us to other agricultural productions. On one hand
students could be watering the fields and on the other hand they would be
picking up the products to make a tomato paste, fruit jam or cut some noodles.
Our students also learn to make yoghurt, buttermilk with the milk that they have
milked from the cows and sheep which live in our barns. Doğa students can eat and
also take home their own made products while we usually consume already produced
products from
supermarkets in school.

15. Through the teaching system that is based on Multiple Intelligence
Theory, the education process is realized according to different
intelligence categories: “Logical-Mathematical, Linguistic, Spatial,
Bodily-Kinaesthetic, Musical, Interpersonal,Intrapersonal and Naturalist
intelligence. Thus, our students are not restricted to dominant
intelligence areas. NLC method is also used to activate recessive
intelligence areas of the students.
16. ²Thanks to the NLC model, the students aren't
confined between four walls and everywhere become
classrooms. Mathematics, painting and music aren't
² restrained in classrooms. Through this model,
students become active
²participants of the learning process.
18. ²TheseBoardsareVerySmart!
² All classrooms of Doğa Schools are equipped with high-tech smart board system.
Thus, all classrooms have interactive whiteboards, computers, projectors, UPS's and
generators any more. Doğa Schools is among the first schools to use the smart board
system in Turkey. The smart board system improves the way the teachers teach, train
and present information. Doğa College offers its students an opportunity of reaching
information the easy way, becoming acquainted children with modern technology and
participating interactive learning process. The students work with multimedia materials
through the smart board system.THESE BOARDS ARE VERY SMART
23. MUN
(MODEL UNITED NATIONS)
Model United Nations (also
Model UN or MUN) is an
academic simulation of the United
Nations that aims to educate
participants about current events,
topics in international relations,
diplomacy and the United Nations
agenda.
27. The most important signifier of the investment that has been
made in human beings are that the importance that is given
to education and educational projects. The education is the
most prominent factor that progress the society. In a
globalizing world where
the borders are blurred day by day, the borders of education
push its limits.
28. In the accession process to the European Union, all
attempts have critical importance for the people of
this country. One of the most prominent phases in EU
membership process is being accorded with EU
countries' education systems. Aware of this, Doğa
Schools applies an education method that is
