Review the degrees of rehabilitation.
This week we explored the relationship between peer pressure
and delinquent behavior. Cliques and social groups can be
socially acceptable or not. Gangs are not a new phenomenon;
they have a lengthy history dating to the 17th century in
England (Siegal & Welsh, 2012). However, the role of gangs
and their influence may differ today than in times past. Discuss
the following:
Do gangs serve a purpose? Discuss the difference between a
fraternity, a criminal gang, and a drug-oriented gang.

Cliques and social groups can be socially acceptable or not. Gangs are not a new phenomenon; they have a lengthy history dating to the 17th century in England (Siegal & Welsh, 2012). However, the role of gangs and their influence may differ today than in times past. Discuss the following: Do gangs serve a purpose? Discuss the difference between a fraternity, a criminal gang, and a drug-oriented gang.
