JUVENILE JUSTICE1 ONLY ONE PARAGRAPH
Instructional Objectives for this activity:
Identify the process of arrest.
Each student is to research his/her state (or any state as long as
it has not been researched by another student) regarding
corporal punishment. Report on the various state laws relating
to corporal punishment.
What are the similarities and the differences in various states'
use or non-use of corporal punishment?
How do you feel about the state laws on corporal punishment?
What would you change to make a difference regarding juvenile
delinquency in schools today?
The minimum expectation for class discussions is to respond
directly to each prompt and respond to at least two other posts
by the end of the week. Posts to which you respond can be
either by a student or the instructor.
Submit one main post responding directly to the discussion
prompts.
This should be a substantive response to the topic(s) in your
own words, referencing what you have discovered in required
reading and other learning activities.
You may use resources in addition to your textbook that support
your post(s). However, cite your sources.
For citation guidelines, please refer to the table in the APA
Style section of the syllabus.

  • 1. JUVENILE JUSTICE1 ONLY ONE PARAGRAPH Instructional Objectives for this activity: Identify the process of arrest. Each student is to research his/her state (or any state as long as it has not been researched by another student) regarding corporal punishment. Report on the various state laws relating to corporal punishment. What are the similarities and the differences in various states' use or non-use of corporal punishment? How do you feel about the state laws on corporal punishment? What would you change to make a difference regarding juvenile delinquency in schools today? The minimum expectation for class discussions is to respond directly to each prompt and respond to at least two other posts by the end of the week. Posts to which you respond can be either by a student or the instructor. Submit one main post responding directly to the discussion prompts. This should be a substantive response to the topic(s) in your own words, referencing what you have discovered in required reading and other learning activities. You may use resources in addition to your textbook that support your post(s). However, cite your sources. For citation guidelines, please refer to the table in the APA Style section of the syllabus.
